Stay or go?

When did he tell you this?

Harsh, probably one of the best players in the team, frustrating and misses the obvious shot/pass, but they are from positions that other players donā€™t get into in the first place. Itā€™s also no coincidence that on ifollow away games the commentators always point out Knowles and Hutch as the biggest threats.

Yep, and his wage as a winger is wasted, so let him go and utilise it elsewhere.

Be disappointed if Smith were to leave due to him displacing Evans this season and performing well, but he is far from irreplaceable.

If that was the case his name would be all over the 300 odd posts in the POTS thread, go and revisit it, I donā€™t think there is one seriously suggesting him, so Iā€™d go as far as saying he isnā€™t one of the best players in the team.

Danielsā€™s was absolutely f***ing dreadful again. Look like legs have gone.

Very very alarming drop off in form this season.

I put it down to a blip butā€¦. I fear you may be right.

Farquharson looks like an oaf at the back too.

Thatā€™s down to the manager

Definitely need to bring in an experienced CB next season .top priority

If you only base the below on players who have played over 20 games and are still with us, he has the 5th highest rating,

Without sounding rude thatā€™s facts over opinion.

Jesus this is the day that just keeps on giving. I thought we got rid of him. Kin useless

So he is 6.7 which Iā€™d say is peak average, or 10th on the list including all the players you have removed to prove the point he is ā€œone of the best players in the teamā€. Scroll over on that page and youā€™ll see the amount of yellow cards he has accumulated, Iā€™ll give you that one, he is the the best in the team at picking those up :+1:

@WalsallOne

Would John Ruddy or Etheridge consider a return? If they were ā€˜number oneā€™, either would make a huge difference.

Etheridge is out of contract and 34 now not as unrealistic as some may think.

I always have a chuckle to myself inside when I hear the ā€œyour indestructibleā€ part of Knowlesā€™s song.

Good thinkingā€¦Etheridge might. He would certainly be better than the two we have. Our two are good shot stoppers but donā€™t command the box.Smith was culpable for a couple of the goals last week and when your CBs are not at their best an Ince type would be a big asset.

Long has heā€™s learnt not to keep kicking the effin ball into Touch ID be fine with that
