Doesnโt sound much different to Matt or Pressley, if he brings goals that will be different to Gordon and Iโm still working out what Amantchi is, if anything
Iโm wondering whether we will be any different to last year with how we play, as I donโt think we are signing another forward now we have 5 on the books.
Stuttle definitely isnโt coming in to sit on the bench Iโm sure Bournemouth would have stipulated he needed to play and is probably one of the reasons he chose us as he has been told he will start.
Iโve been on this site for well over a decade, not sure why everyone is welcoming me nowโฆ
He looks to me more of the Freddie Draper style than the Nathan Lowe style from the footage Iโve been watching of him. Broad shoulders and plenty of hustle and bustle. Should suit the league quite well really in that regards. I do worry about us not having a more technical forward at the club though, as all five that we have are better physically - I suppose that is the SadsBall way of things though sadly.
While I would prefer our main striker to be a permanent signing โฆ Letโs be honest, the chances of Bournemouth recalling him are very slim. Stoke Recalled Lowe because of the uncertainty regarding Tom Cannon. Stuttle is never going to play for Bournemouth this season.
As said above the likelihood of Bournemouth recalling him are next too slim unless he bangs in 30 goals before January , quite like the sound of this signing itโs not like heโs been loaned from a league 1 team too regain fitness or a championship team with the chance of them being recalled
Good luck Stuttle letโs hope you hit the ground running
No nothing about him, hope he does well but couldnt get into the aldershot team last season in the league below, then dropped down a division to be a starter
For me I see it as an investment, strikers make you money and we have no one coming through in that area. When was the last time Walsall produced or owned a decent striker?
"Heโs a strong, powerful centre-forward who likes to rough centre-backs up"
Seems like he is just adding to what is already here - a typical Sadler forward, fighting with defenders trying to bring down long balls from the centre backs.
I would have liked more of a foil for a target man than a conveyor belt of battlers but thatโs just not Sadsball.
