Think Taylor is more interested in maintaining his pretty boy looks, his immaculate dentistry and his time on the sunbed maintaining his tan than he is in coaching a football team. Ship him out
Bored of the club, anyone know were Matt got his hat and coat from ? looked in Primark and it definitely wasn’t from there
All designer clobber m8. Surprised he goes on the pitch at all tbh incase he tarnishes it with a spot of dirt. At half time his personal hair stylist gives it a quick tidy up, bit more tooth whitener applied, 10 mins on the sun bed and we come out for the second half
Come on chaps. All a bit down but no need to chip at MT like this.
Odd behaviour from an couple on here. What does it matter how pretty / ugly a manager is or where his clothes are from?
Hilariously bad trolling.
As identified on another thread, we have a board of directors that has been in place collectively for around 120 years, a consecutive list of failed managers as long as my right leg (bar one miracle worker), and here we are hounding out another poor bastard in the dugout while now even knocking his attire!!
As soon as you get your head around the fact LP is NOT FRESH to this organisation, a lot of this looks very different.
Nobody would be doing any better with our mix of has-beens, children and punts, we don’t have a striker that we own ffs!
If just 30% more of us just apportioned the blame where it should be, we may stand a chance of actually getting something done instead of continually being blinded by last-minute equalisers against footballing giants like Newport!! so, so frustrating!!!
I never thought I would be saying this; but we look finished. When these loan lads go, that inevitably we will not be able to afford - what then??!
Couldn’t care less if our manager looked like bloody Worzel Gummidge in the dugout. I just want to go to a game and watch us actually resemble something that looks like a cohesive, well-drilled football team… oh, and win a few more games too!
I’ve seen some bad takes on this forum, but this has to be up there with one of the worst.
‘Why don’t more people just think like me?’ is never the basis of a good argument.
I say this sincerely and not to ‘troll’ because I like your contributions Funk, but this perhaps isn’t the greatest line of thinking.
An acknowledged problem of social media is the feedback bubbles people get into and hanging out here too much can lead you to believe you are 100% correct. If we just changed this chairman, if we just sacked that DoF…. It’s so easy, why can’t everyone else see it? Because you’ve convinced yourself you are totally right.
People that don’t agree, like myself, aren’t blinded by last minute equalisers. We just have different philosophies, thoughts and expectations. Anybody could argue people that don’t agree with them are ‘blinded’ but you’re better than that.
It’s just a friendly reminder that UTS doesn’t represent the entire fan base and anyone that doesn’t agree and/or doesn’t post here isn’t the enemy and need to be ‘converted’ somehow.
Think about who’s posting it Rob and it’s not odd behaviour at all.
Losing and trolling is perfectly normal Gensanx behaviour.
I used to laugh at it… now it’s just boring. The disappointing thing for them is that if they had something sensible to add to a thread, it can get lost in the nonsense and ignored.
It was actually meant to be lighthearted lol
Looking at those dreadful stats and what with people asking about ways to improve the matchday experience, well the best way for me is for us to win a higher percentage of our home games, and be a free flowing, high scoring side.
I spent the best part of 20 years standing on the terraces at Fellows Park in a ground that was falling down, a wall for a toilet, with rain water pi$$ing down the back of my neck due to the leaks in the roof and not once did I say the matchday experience was crap!!! The difference was that I loved, in the main, seeing the football that we turned out to all watch and adore.
May be i am simplifying it too much, but to be proud of what I see us do on the pitch means a lot to me.
U clearly can’t take a joke m8. Thats what they were other people were saying when I overhead them yesterday. I personally found it quite funny. Lighten up
Apparently one of the railway club boys even had a joke with him about. Where do you get your clobber from matt etc etc etc.
For godsake lighten up
UTS represents my only remaining voice on all things Walsall FC, I gave up on social media concerning Walsall an awfully long time ago. I withdrew my support for the current setup last season, barring the odd tenner to watch on iFollow this season when I literally have very little else on.
If you do value my contributions, then you will already know that my criticisms have always come from a professional angle in that I work in events, events promotion, and social media, all concerning large-scale music industry events. I’m not arrogant, but as far as entertainment and hospitality goes I know my onions - based purely on 15 successful years within the industry. No case of ‘heart ruling head’ here, which is where a lot of people allow themselves to be blinded imo.
My emotional connection to Walsall FC, the social side etc, continues to wane and I do often consider logging out of this site and never worrying about Walsall again. However, at the moment I do still retain a low level of interest and will continue to post on here while this is the case.
There are quite a few businessmen on this site, some very successful it seems, and all seem to come to a very similar conclusion to myself. Walsall FC in its current setup is not fit for purpose and will not remain a league club for much longer unless there is change and fresh thinking at the Director level. No disrespect to any other poster, but @P.T , @Cully, @philthesaddler and a few others seem to be able to cut through the crap and tell it like it is. These guys all still go to games, too - unlike myself.
Look, I have no idea whether you are connected to the club or not, or where exactly your slightly suspicious standpoint derives from, but when people like myself give up and stop posting, this collective, that has been at the club for an awfully long time, will have free reign to march us into the depths of nonleague, and I hand on heart believe this will happen without change.
So, for the time being you will have to put up with my ‘echo chamber’ posts, if I can make just 5 people question what actually is happening in the Banks’ Boys Clique then I will be more than happy before I drift away for good.
Our home form has been pretty crap for years. Seem to remember we had a better away record under Smith than at home. Playing a similar system to this but scoring on the counter away, mind you there was the 17 game winless run in that as well.
Just watching shrewsbury against Liverpool… God how far we have fallen there squad is miles better than anything we can muster together… we will be non league soon and tbh that’s where we deserve to be… this is what no ambition gets you… I get angry at myself for supporting this club… problem is teams are just gonna keep coming up from the conference and overtaking us… let’s all be honest there isn’t too much enjoyment supporting this… we are just getting left behind and it’s all becoming depressing
I don’t know how old u are but I am 60 and no body knows how long we have but sometimes I will never c us haveing good times again to c players like kenny mower and there ike who gave 110 per cent and cared about how club might not c that again but hope is a great thing
I agree with everything u say and I have always thought y have thay not tapped into the local people u would love to give there input
37… I’ve supported walsall since I was 11
