No that split went when Clarke was appointed.LP confirmed it at a meeting I went too.I cannot remember which one. Actually it wasn’t split as you suggest it 50% playing budget and 50% football infrastructure which I took to mean the coaching, fitness for example for all our teams.

With this league it’s such fine margins
If we could have ended just 2 games a bit tighter Newport and Bristol rovers that’s a possible 4 points then we are just 2 points of playoffs
Seen enough at Bradford and Exeter away and Mansfield home to see there’s no team to be frightened of on our day
I think we are due a bit of luck and it may be just around the corner

Well lots of injuries, conceding ridiculous goals from set pieces under yet another manager so half the budget isn’t being spent very well on that either!
Guessing appointing Taylor and McDonald has eaten into things but perhaps the Clarke compo was held back on that. As ever we’ll never know beyond the chosen few.
Does anyone know what McDonald is supposed to do at the club?
Perhaps he is in charge of fitness levels…but nobody told him that?
