Solid addition to the coaching staff.
There was an article on Rob Edwards when he was at Luton. He was pretty much commuting there from his family home in the Midlands every day.
So can live with family every day and attempt to keep them up.
Similar to John Eustace walking out of Blackburn when they were top 6 last season to join Derby who looked all but relegated, family played a big part in that one aswell.
Has he given up the Grenada job to do this?
I always thought that Mick McCarthy and Roy Keane would make a great management team- they obviously love each other!!!

I always liked him. He played more than 100 games for us in the mid-sixties.

He was a lager than life character by the sound of it.
I like him too but it wasn’t a universal view as I can recall fans saying after a defeat. “ it was all Carling’ s fault “. This was said not once but many times.
