Our review of Walsall’s January transfer window is here! We talk about the current state of the squad after a busy deadline day, as well as looking at what needs to change to turn Walsall’s form back around.

We look at the individuals signed, react live to the signing of Ellis Harrison, and discuss who our preferences are for the starting XI.

Brilliant listen again guys, love how you’ve done this live on the night, and you were both there on the look out for tweets, and as excited, optimistic, or just plain worried when that last signing came in who the hell it would be …

Must admit I was originally disappointed with the last player in, mainly because I didn’t know anything about him, but looking at the stats and the reaction from the MK Dongs fans, it would appear he is the Walsalls equivalent to DJ.

If that is the case and we have both EH and DJ and with the back up in midfield we were all worried about with Hall and Earrings long term injuries I’m struggling to find we are leaving the window weaker than before we went into it tbh, plus we didn’t lose any of our own players.

Top and bottom of it we’ve lost Lowe and only Lowe, a big loss I except, but just one player at the end of the day.

Thanks mate! Yes, we wanted to record as the window closed and then ended up having a later one after the teaser was put on :joy:

Maybe it is the optimist in me, but I would like to think that a few of the signings are with an eye on next season too, and teams testing their players in League One, IF we get there

Keeping hold of the key players was huge though
