£2 in the locker , twice as many if not more people in there spending there cash ,So why can’t they (the owners)think a bit , lower the prices thru the gates ,maybe the attendance may increase significantly, meaning more bums on seats and while they are there spending money on food beer etc , oh at the same time generating a better atmosphere at the same time. It’s not hard is it
But there again I’m thinking logic ,And Walsall fc don’t do that
Yow look happy in that @Thanatos
Yeah it worked for me everyone went to the Locker so the bar I was in was nice and quiet. Although as a season ticket holder it didn’t save me two quid
It seems to have disturbed the seagulls anyway.
Might have put the wind up Swifty too for all we know.
No your not. As…
So utterly pointless reduction just moved people who’d have been elsewhere, no gain.
Same applies to the crowd you won’t get that many extra by making it any cheaper, the only way our crowd goes up is if we do well, and even then it’s not that many home fans, most of the increase was larger away followings in the higher divisions. Obviously excluding cup runs when the world and his wife want to see us against the “bigger” teams.
Which one are u Thanatos the old guy with his hands in pockets
There seemed to be so many ppl with ID badges carrying food that i thought they were delivering them to the fans/seats who had ordered.
So You scan the QR code, (i assume it asks you which stand you are in), then when ready you go and collect?
I think that giant Duck has been bought in by the club to scare the seagulls up above .As there have been numerous complaints from fans that they are being shite on .another example of the club getting it totally wrong again
And there was me thinking Thanatos was the one with his back to the camera wearing the orange skirt…
lol
The one directly behind him if I’m not mistaken eh @Thanatos ?
Oh… I’m not sure about that. I went down for a piss at halftime. I was thirsty and looked in at the kiosk
expecting it to be chocca. Suprised it wasnt too bad. A lad in the kiosk was telling those in queue to use the ordering screens, so I did. Just like Maccies. I only wanted a couple bottles of water that didn’t take much preparing.
However, last season I would have had to queue behind people wanting pies, chips etc. From punching in my order and getting it took about a minute.
Fair enough response as a season ticket holder , I can understand it’s not great reducing the entrance fee to the locker , My view was sort of from the other side of the fence who has been priced out of going to matches as of a good many others I know ,I use to be a regular home and away and my wife.success puts bums on seats but so does affordability ,
People will get used to it it’s bit like scan your own shopping and self service tills in supermarkets no one used them at first now there rammed and it quicker through the ordinary tills sometimes folk are right stick in the mud sometimes don’t like change .get the food faster they’ll soon switch .
Can you order a beer on there? Not that I will use it cos I don’t have a pint now, but I think if you can and that catches on the collection queue might increase significantly!
Never had a problem getting served in the locker got in there about 2.20 ish and took about 1 minute .
I dont think so. The kiosks didn’t done booze previously. Cracking idea though.
Tbf looks impressive, I assumed it was just a QR code and do it on your phone, this looks alot better and simpler.
I expect we will see it again, it won’t have been ‘cheep’, there will be a big bill.
