Would be a a real worry if the 15% budget cuts are true but I’d be extremely surprised, can’t see how they could cut the budget when we had crowds higher than last however many years, opened the locker which will be even more income than previous. And finished higher than previous seasons! Could really do without absolute nonsense statements unless they can be pretty much 100% accurate. Keep it in the bank and ask it at the forum which I’d say will get shut down pretty much instantly.

That is a disgrace if true! How is cutting the budget by 15%, incremental progression?!! We’ve got Norfolk n chance of getting out of League 2 on that basis. If that’s true: what exactly are they going to cut?! Hutch will be sold for sure, and they’ll probably look to offload DJ. Our only hope is that Adebayo is sold and we get our 10% sell on!

Honestly….Walsall FanTV are actually detrimental to this football club from a morale point of view.
They seem to come up with completely unsubstantiated nonsense and spout it like it’s gospel and shame on anyone who believes it.
His quest for clicks and likes is worrying if he can’t do it with sound information.

To be fair, it’s kind of irrelevant in a way. I personally doubt there has been a 15 percent cut, but if there has been, like him or not Sadlers job becomes impossible and it will become obvious very quickly he’s been short changed.
It wasn’t that long ago people were delivering coffins to the club. They’d soon find out that won’t go down well with the fans that go every week.
Like I say though, doubt it has any basis. I assume it’s based on the fact we are losing staff members and that no transfer activity has happened, but we have a decent sized squad anyway and staff members are normally on one year deals. Can’t say I’m too concerned at this point, but the quality of player coming in does need to improve.

I don’t know about anyone else who contributes to this forum but I have no idea what goes on behind the scenes.
What I do know is Trivela reunited the club with the ground, they also refurbed the old saddlers club. It’s a start with lots more to get done.
Personally I’m desperate to see the team improve and get out of this league.
Are Trivela perfect ? No, but I actually think they are doing ok and trust them to continue to improve our beloved football club.
I take no notice of rumours because I prefer facts but that’s just my own opinion.

Wouldn’t surprise me if the one that made up the wage bill cut rumour is someone that is constantly taking digs at Sadler/Trivela to stir things up.
After speaking to Ben in April, the way he spoke about wanting to get promotion out of this league didn’t seem like a guy that would slash the budget two months later.

No one takes much notice mate I’d take anything they say with a pinch of salt don’t think they’ve got anything right rumour wise other than what they’ve nicked off here and Twitter. I actually like the fan chats they do they have some decent lads on there who are pretty fair and balanced in there opinions.
