Sadler back in work today, and he’s in next Mon-Weds before he’s off to Glastonbury (sadly for him Maroon 5 not playing this year) so some hope of some news early next week maybe.

Hutchinson in talks with Stockport
Jackson Smith still considering options and pushing for a better deal. Watto leaving has not helped. Club keen to sort it out as he’s a fan favourite and they are worried losing up to 3 fans favourites will not be seen as good business.

The lack of football on a Saturday is killing me and couple that up with the radio silence… I need my Walsall fix!
On a more positive note, I think taking our time to fill the gaps with quality might be a good thing, if we can find a top quality experienced keeper who can play the whole season I’d have George Barrett as back up, if we are going to have cover on loan we may as well make the most of Barrett’s development.
We also need two quality strikers, one pressing one Target Man, cover for RWB that could end up being Foulkes and maybe another CB on loan to cover.
Wouldn’t mind a Box to Box midfielder to challenge what we have but at max that’s 6 signings. Come the end of June I think we will all be much more positive…. Well I hope

Stockport currently have eight contracted midfielders including three new signings, so find that hard to believe.

Stockport County have signed midfielder Lewis Bate following his release by Championship side Leeds United.
Stockport don’t have an interest in him , this was rumoured in Jan also and no truth in it .
