Yeah I agree, for some reason WFC are cursed when it comes to older players. It seems every other club manages to get them to ‘roll back the years’ and some of ours barely make it through 3 matches (looking at you Tomlin !)

I’d say this is one to keep a very close eye on, I know that him and Darren Byfield are seriously close friends and Darren rates Bogle very very highly! Could be a similair signing to last season when he suggested to Sadler to sign Oteh, just hope if it happens this one goes slightly better
We’re not going to get promoted by signing Newport’s cast offs.

After further research, I now realise that the rule that a new contract must at least be equal to an old one only applies to players which the club has signed with an option to re-engage at the end of the initial contract, or to all players in the national league. That does make more sense.

I think it’s more to do with wages and Newport losing about £900,000 a year.
Bogle would be a good signing, provided that another more prolific player joins the ranks alongside him.
If fit, he’s a serious upgrade on DJT and ‘Busted’-Flush…

Just shows what a lot of tat we’ve signed over the last 15 years. Strikers make the difference and win you promotions, hence why they cost more. We very rarely invest in quality, and when we do, we don’t seem to use it properly- look at Sadler’s flagrant misuse of DJ this season.

I know that we have not always seen eye to eye EN (far better in recent times though) but I can’t ever remember folks on here calling you a troll, which you are clearly not. An argumentative fukka and someone that can grind others into the ground, yes, but never a troll

He is mates with Byfield isn’t he? Local lad as well, I think he could do us a decent job, but if we did sign him FFS don’t sign Flash or offer super DJT another deal to play alongside him!!
