To me, the difference in player skill levels in league 2 is not that great. Some are better than others obviously,

The real trick is, to sign players that fit what you are trying to do, with a range of players with different skills and attributes. This is where we got it wrong replacing Lowe, in my opinion. We were unlikely to get someone as good but we signed the wrong profile of player/s altogether.

I totally understand and Sadlerā€™s comment about being inundated with agents ringing him didnā€™t help.

Really pleased we didnā€™t sign Ellis Harrison permanently though.

Had Cook not got injured at Bradford, I wonder whether Mellon would have gone to us instead. I think he would have done well for us, but I guess itā€™s just conjecture now.
