The same Jordy Hiwula who started the 2023/24 season without a club and didn’t get signed by Morecambe until the February, to be released at the end of the season.
The same Jordy Hiwula that didn’t have a club at all last season.
I’m not convinced that is a path we should tread!

Well I don’t know the reasons for that, obviously if there are injury or other issues then it’s not a good idea.
But I think Walsall are a side who can take sensible chances on players who for whatever reason don’t succeed elsewhere
Fabian Brandy is a good example. Pretty poor record at every club he played for except the 50 odd games he played for Walsall where he was on fire.
That’s probably how it will pan out mate we have the same discussion every year about numerous players they could sign and they never do:rofl:
We might as well talk about Ronaldo and Mbappe they are about as likely to sign for us as someone like Cheek.
We never sign names at this level why?

Rightly so unless he is actually ronaldo.
Difference being we wouldn’t be taking Hiwula at the age of 24, he will be 31 in September. There is a reason only Morecambe, who were a basket case at the time, have signed him in two seasons. Even Priestley Farqhauson has played more games than him

Hiwula is 30. Been around some more. Hes not a rough diamond is he.

He was only on fire for about 20 of those games.
He was almost unplayable at his best though.
I always thought Hiwula was good for us, but it has been a fair few years ago now.

He would lower the average age of our forward line though! 
It wasn’t really a serious suggestion, but if it was a cheap deal, he could play in the 541 box (if he stayed fit for long enough!)
Some on here have set a very low bar .
