You only had to endure it until around midnight though as thatās when the 3 channels available (4 from late 1982) all closed down for the night. No 24/7 viewing in those days.

Iāve got a vague memory of one of Buckleyās goals being a penalty at the Street End, but that could be completely wrong.
I donāt have a lot of money but I will have Ā£20 for a charity of your choice that he never plays in the Championship. Iām not counting Scottish Premier League or any rubbish like that as a higher level, even if it is technically.
Not sure of the time frame, it will be a long drawn out bet, but Iāll be surprised if he went any higher than League 1.

As Michael Ngoo played more than 20 games in the SPL and Rod McDonald also played in it for a couple of seasons, you are wise to not include it.
