I can just about imagine the Baggies loaning him to us again but why would they allow us an option to buy? Absolutely nothing in it for them.
Faal is out of contract next summer, so there would be no need for a āoption to buyā
He might be but if he bangs in 15 to 20 goals then he will receive alot better offers than us come end of next season. Hence better to pay a fee now. Heās a player of obvious talent so not a risk
The question is how much ££££££££
As usual, you miss the point. Yes, buying now might be good for both, but an option for us to buy makes no sense since he will be out of contract and, if Albion, did extend it, why would they agree to sell to us in advance?
donāt know how Iāve missed the point at all to be honest. Maybe you have. A good season with in 24 25 heās gone in 25 26 unless heās signed permanently
Rinse and repeat. same old same old
The point you missed is why WBA would do it.
A fee for Mo would likely break our transfer record. I can only think the loan with option to buy is at the insistence of us.
Itās also only a rumour and one that Iām having a hard time believing. I think a bog standard loan is more believable with Mo looking to move to league one in Jan if successful with us.
I donāt think there is any truth in the Faal deal.
Made up rumour, as far as Iāve heard.
The interesting viewpoint is that if Faal signs permanently, the fee Iāve heard would be more than we could have paid this time last year for Draperā¦
I get it absolutely but I donāt think you do
I suspect that we may have enquired about Faal.
I very much doubt if we will be able to make any progress though.
Itās only possible if WBA want to send him out on loan, but I would have thought they would be looking to loan him to a L1 club after having had a full season in L2.
If it goes through, I can see it being towards the end of the transfer window, with Albion being unable to find a L1 club to do business with.
West Brom wouldnāt put an option to buy at the end of the season supposing he wonāt be their player at the end of the season.
I donāt beleive they have done because I donāt beleive the rumor anyway. Why woukd faal go to the bottom division. Heās already proved himself there
Guaranteed first team football at a club he already knows and stays local?
Mole incomingā¦
Letās get naughty.
Correct.
Whilst burrowing around the sands of Bloxwich-on-sea, I can confirm itās a made up rumour.
We did enquire ages ago, but nothing since.
Iād be very surprised if this was true, and I suspect the early part of next week will come any go without any Faal signing.
If we do sign him, Iāll take my moley pants off and dance naked in Park Street.
any other hope or rumors ?
or just deon Moore and kamwa !!!.
The reason Faal came to us last season was because he wanted to be closer to home wasnāt it? Doncaster isnāt that far away so maybe Albion canāt find a team in league 1 that satisfies Faal mileage wise.
Actually, because he has experience playing with most of the Walsall players for half a season, it doesnāt matter if he only arrived next week, or even the week after.
Are they our new strikers that Sadler was talking about?! The new Timmy Abraham and DJT!
