The Official Summer Transfer Rumours Thread 2024 II

Give us your full list of 24 teams in order then.

Your evidence is based on the last half of last season. Best player gone. best striker absent for God knows how long

ludicrous. you don’t understand !!!

You’re just repeating the same points.

I’ll make one further point. It’s not difficult to berate or criticize Walsall, or to forecast negative outcomes. Many other teams have a prouder history of success or a larger wealthier fanbase or wealthier owners.

However the club means an awful lot to many people and when a so called fan makes repeated efforts to extinguish any glimmer of positivity associated with the club, with never a single constructive solution to the issues he ā€˜identifies’ you have to wonder if there is something fundamentally wrong with that person.

Can’t wait for your 24 teams in order

I’m not happy at all with the state of wfc. I don’t think many are. It hurts. but it’s of the clubs making. Look at the owners say mansfield, vale, Gillingham and Burton have secured. people who really want to invest in the team

best regards

So two teams in our division who have made better transfers than us (and I’d probably agree Vale and Gillingham have had good transfer windows)

And youve extrapolated that to us coming 16th!

My word that’s some leap of logic.

If you’re including Mansfield and Burton in your predictions thats where you’re going wrong.

What’s your prediction for this season then?

Not your hope - your prediction given current state of the squad and what you think will come in?

I was pretty spot on last season

Need to wait to the eve of the season for that. Don’t think all the transfers are done yet.

As was I actually.

One that may have been worth us looking at.

Interesting comments by Kenny Jackett can’t help but feel it’s exactly what Walsall should be doing more of.

Are we still feeding the obvious troll on here? Can I recommend the mute button - certainly improves some threads.

For me it could go either side of mid table at present. At current id say it was a side around 13-16th… with 3 quality additions I think we could go 8-11th.

Let’s see what we do in the window.

What flavour of sausages are available at the catering at Hednesford town next season?

Kind Regards.

Agree with this - I think Faal should be picked up by a league 1 club for the coming season - either loan or permanent.

Having said that IF the club can pull off the Faal signing it will be an amazing signing - club and Sadler will deserve full credit. We wait and see…

On your point of hope !!!. There is always some hope. As I think you actually said Sadler should be analysing the Barrow set up and formation re Josh Gordon

Also alot can be achieved with a united front from supporters. We don’t have this !!!. Only total division on opinions re Sadler, Pomlett and Trivela!!!

It dosnt help but it is what it is !!!

Glad to see a League 2 side showing ambition!

Only if you think Josh Gordon’s primary role is to score goals!

I think a bit higher than that as it stands. Other than Hutchinson leaving, don’t know why you’d think we’d finish lower than last season.

How is the hutch not being our best player debatable lol
Been head and shoulders above any other player we had on the pitch all season

I agree, picking up Faal would be a real coup. The things in our favour are our location and he knows the set-up. But the main thing against is that he probably needs to play at a higher level to develop. It’s worrying that we seem to be waiting for a loan deal that probably will never happen! What’s Plan B? Kamwa plus an academy player from Stoke or Norwich?

Either that. Or he needs to be the div 4 emile Heskey. Id say he’s neither at the moment

Do you remember Heskey. Striker. Couldn’t score for toffee but god he was great at what he did
