Just thinking, if we sign Sam Hornby in goal can’t see us signing any more in defence as much as I’d like a creative midfielder to replace hutch can’t see it happening with how many we’ve already got there. Only the strikers to sign which I’d say there will be couple with the bits coming out of the camp from Sadler. Even if both are on loan which I hope we have someone permanent coming in that’s scored goals previous. Will this be the lowest amount of loans we’ve had in a season! And go completely against what Boycott was telling us about having our fair share of loans
You know, we could play Adomah in a creative midfield role. Earing is also a possibility.
One good thing is that, although we have more players continuing from last season than in recent years, several of them are effectively new either because they were out on loan or were long term injured.
You know what, that’s actually a great shout!
I think we will sign horny in goal
A loan cb as cover after last year’s centre back fiasco
A loan centre midfielder for depth and Comley injury
2 strikers 1 young on loan , one mid 20s not scored loads but shown something
Crawley Town have signed Mu Faal
I also remember Tranmere and Crewe being perpetual 4th Division strugglers and Shrewsbury having a good spell in the Second Division under Graham Turner.
Times change.
Will he be able to keep many clean sheets?
We have 7 already!
Groovy
McEntee will be midfiled and priest will get injured
This sounds like a Seaman rumour I thought he retired years ago
Or Rimmy Walker.
At least he will come for nothing
Go look at the season ticket availability chart on the OS. There certainly doesnt look like there is a big change of seats available, indeed the stand I sit in on Block M appears to have sold many more than last year.
What’s Nigel Spunk up to these days?
Jizzy Jääskeläinen is available.
I wouldn’t be surprised given our impressive summer recruitment if there has been an uptick in sales over the summer and we are broadly in line with if not slightly ahead now of sales last summer. I’m also greatly encouraged that despite the incomings the club has resisted the temptation to ‘re-open the early bird’.
I’ve just been sniffing and burrowing around the stadium. Popped out of my mole hill and saw the Lincoln bus.
At least he will be up for it
