Spot on RaW. The club isn’t showing me any real intent to get out of Division 4. The signings we have made have not really improved us much - RWB is the only area where we are stronger than last season. Losing Faal and Hutch has made us significantly weaker in attack. We have two weeks to show some ambition, but will we?!!

Depends on your view of “late” - the window is open for 11 weeks, and there are still 5 left. As has been commented before, many of the early pickups will have been free agents. The fact that we haven’t gone for those could mean we have specific targets in mind who are still under contract?

My mate who works at the club has said the club are working on bringing in a striker who is a serious coop and have been working on it for a coup of weeks now but he isn’t allowed to tell me who which really is not useful lol but he works for the club so wouldn’t lie
He also said the new away kit is banging

It’s not that I disagree with your post as such.
However, the problem is we potentially don’t have enough players to put out a forward line in our first game as it stands. If Gordon were to pick up a knock and Matt is unable to play 90 minutes, we are extremely weak in that area.
Another problem is waiting on these specific targets which will probably be loans, what happens if they fall through late? Then we really are up against it and probably have to settle for what we can get through the door.
It isn’t describing to me the laser-focused recruitment Trivela talked about, if I am honest.
We have the core of a good side but at this point, we need players in upfront. I expect something will happen this week.
