I think geographical location would probably have played a part.

Gateshead were voted out were voted out in the early 1960ā€™s despite having only applied for re election on one other occasion.

Different times though, the third division was split north and south when we were regularly applying, so we would have been a comparatively lengthy trip for a lot of clubs.

Solihull Moors announced the signing of John Bostock in the last hour:

Surely that couldā€™ve been a realistic signing for this club, more so with the injuries to Earing and Comley so if either doesnā€™t come back quickly central midfield is looking very thin indeed to challenge at right end.

Only 32 and had a fantastic spell at Notts County, think it was said he ran the midfield in their win at Bescot late last season.
