A couple of reasons. Firstly because I had a run in with Ben Sadler a couple.of weeks ago after i said that I was disgusted that the Club didnt do the honourable and respectful act of remembering and respecting the tragically sad loss of Shakey. I thought a page on the official club website was the least they could have done at that time.
Based on that and a lot of other stuff I have posted not just on here but also on Twitter ,or X, that I am seen as publically enemy number one down corridors of the Bezza. So do you really think they would agree and admit that Solihull are able to offer better wages than we can or are prepared to do for a player?
I will leave up to you all to make your own minds up on who you believe.
Wilko didnât do enough for us even when fully fit tbh . Would have been a huge gamble When he actually doesnât fit in to our system and hasnât played much football for a year and we need a STRIKER who is ready to play straight away .
Wish him well but pleased we have not wasted more of the budget on another ex player.
I mean no offence here but i think a ceo and the club have far more to worry about than what any of us put on social media. what is tough to believe is that Mat sadler would release a player and sign him so quickly when he has done nothing since leaving.
Westie, your insights on transfer rumors are genuinely valuable and appreciated by many. However, some of your personal takes on the club, particularly regarding the hierarchy, can come across as more than just criticalâthey can feel toxic. Itâs understandable that this might lead to backlash. If you focused on delivering your transfer news with a more balanced perspective, I believe youâd encounter far less negativity in response.
Itâs been a positive start to the season but I think tomorrow might be a reality check for the lack of forward options.
Have been busy this week so not been following this thread, why hasnât anyone been signed?
Are they really going to wait until August 31st to get in a couple of strikers as that is cutting things very fine although Iâm sure someone will come in eventually.
Are we in for a Graydon season?
I know ive been on the poo all night but, a 1-0 win away at Gillingham even though we are not playing Gillingham could be a sign.
Thatâs my worry. Nothing against Wilko but he isnât for us now. I am worried that we will get to the end of the road with no good options available to us.
Bit of impatience too I suppose, but that is only natural.
Well they quite clearly have no intention of spending any money on players despite the sale of Hutch if this was Bonser people would be screaming Whereâs the money gone sorry but they would.Trivela are still getting an easy ride for me.
