I also did not realise we had only conceded 5 goals away from home, unbelievable.

In 93-94 we had conceded four goals in away matches, then went to Scunny on January 3rd and lost 5-0.

I remember it well, Dean Smith did his trademark let the ball bounce, and their striker nipped in and scored for one of the goals.
I think that was the same season we lost there on penalties in the FA Cup, that was my 18th Birthday, was sick of the sight of Scunthorpe!

If I recall through the haze of years past, weren’t all of those scored in the second half? DD was their manager at the time and that was second and last time I walked out of a game before the end.
I think they were all scored in a bit of a cluster, but I can’t recall if they were all first half or all second half. I think it was one or the other, someone will know for sure.
