I’d agree re his age but he is a very viable alternative to jamma who I’m sure will be some knocks as the season goes on .
I wouldn’t be against signing him on a 12 month deal
Granted not a trivela type of signing but very experienced at a much higher level
I’d trust Mat and the coaching team with any signing we make now irrelevant of age. If they think the Juke could be a valuable signing to help us finish this job and into next season hopefully in League 1, i for one would trust them with this.
Would think the permanent striker will be a younger striker, someone that if they invest in them with a fee that we can integrate into the side ready for next season in mind.
Now we know that we’ve had close to a record fee rejected for Draper (if it’s true), atleast it shows we’ve got money to spend.
Probably be a striker on loan by Tuesday (going on what Westie has said), then they’ve got two weeks to find the best striker available for a fee as there’s no real rush.
Stevens at Solihull would be a decent alternative.
Played on their left in 4-2-3-1 today so not sure if he could adjust to this formation but 13 goals already this season so get him in now so he can score a few in league 2 and then hopefully he’s good to go for next season.
Sadler clearly doesn’t rate him, don’t care what anyone says.
Think he’s been a talent wasted, but who am I to argue when we’re doing this well - think we should move him on for the good of the club, and DJ himself.
Win at Bradford and the records ours…
Tbh, the way we played today, with the issues surrounding Lowe, et al, don’t believe anyone in this league can get close to us!
Not for this transfer window, but ansuming that Blues do get promoted this season, i would fully expect us to push and try and sign George Hall on a contract. Sadler rates him very highly with his attitude and work ethic whilst he has been with us. He undoubtedly was quality, but i would expect him to be the one we would take a risk on with his injuries rather than Earing
