The un-Official Winter Transfer Rumour Thread

I’d agree re his age but he is a very viable alternative to jamma who I’m sure will be some knocks as the season goes on .
I wouldn’t be against signing him on a 12 month deal

Granted not a trivela type of signing but very experienced at a much higher level

I’d trust Mat and the coaching team with any signing we make now irrelevant of age. If they think the Juke could be a valuable signing to help us finish this job and into next season hopefully in League 1, i for one would trust them with this.

Would think the permanent striker will be a younger striker, someone that if they invest in them with a fee that we can integrate into the side ready for next season in mind.

Now we know that we’ve had close to a record fee rejected for Draper (if it’s true), atleast it shows we’ve got money to spend.

Probably be a striker on loan by Tuesday (going on what Westie has said), then they’ve got two weeks to find the best striker available for a fee as there’s no real rush.

If we’re going to sign 2 strikers surely DJ has to be moving on

Stevens at Solihull would be a decent alternative.

Played on their left in 4-2-3-1 today so not sure if he could adjust to this formation but 13 goals already this season so get him in now so he can score a few in league 2 and then hopefully he’s good to go for next season.

I’d say so, but only if the deal suits us and DJ

Probably just for wages but depends if you want to replace Cleary or not. Guessing Josh being fit again is the replacement in the squad.

In a roundabout way, Asiimwe is the Cleary replacement as it frees Adomah to play upfront by giving us a new backup to Barrett

Sadler clearly doesn’t rate him, don’t care what anyone says.

Think he’s been a talent wasted, but who am I to argue when we’re doing this well - think we should move him on for the good of the club, and DJ himself.

Id say release DJ in the summer. Hes a great option off the bench.

I think today proves we dont need much.

My none league guru friend says Stevens is incredible. Strong interest in him though apparently.

Continuing the discussion from League Two 24/25 - The Other 23:

Win at Bradford and the records ours…
Tbh, the way we played today, with the issues surrounding Lowe, et al, don’t believe anyone in this league can get close to us!

Not sure how much he’d cost, but would love us to go for Samson Tovide at Colchester.

He’s basically a 21 year old version of Jamille Matt, so would be a great signing as an investment.

10 goal contributions this season in a pretty average side.

Think he’s injured at the moment, but would love us to get someone like that.

Lincoln manager confirmed draper ain’t leaving

Just as well cus we’ve moved on to the next target.

Wonder if we will take Tezgel from Stoke on loan ?

Dipo Akinyemi started and scored for York city

If you are referring to the interview on X, no he hasn’t.

Because some people can’t wait for the club to do something they believe is wrong.

Not backing Flynn by paying for DJ. Absolutely perfect decision if you ask me.

Not for this transfer window, but ansuming that Blues do get promoted this season, i would fully expect us to push and try and sign George Hall on a contract. Sadler rates him very highly with his attitude and work ethic whilst he has been with us. He undoubtedly was quality, but i would expect him to be the one we would take a risk on with his injuries rather than Earing
