The wheels have come off!

This could be the most important podcast we have recorded in the two years since we started.

There are three topics on every Walsall fans mind, and we delve deep into all of them. The form, Mat Sadler’s future and what is going on with Harry Williams.

We hope you enjoy the episode, and would love to hear your thoughts.

good podcast personally think Williams has agreed a deal and is willing to play but the management team feel hes not going to give his all and put his body on the line as he doesnt want to risk injury and scupper his deal

It’s incredibly naive (of the club) if that’s the case - because I can guarantee you that every single one of our out of contract player’s agents’ will be on the phone as we speak - talking to club agents and managers.

I really enjoyed listening to this and thought it’s a pity you two can’t do the post match interviews so that some really pertinent questions are asked instead of the sanitised garbage we get.
The segment about Harry Williams was particularly important because you would think after the DJ situation earlier in the season when all manner of speculation was rife the club would have learned a lesson but no.

So a defeat on the road Matt
what’s your thoughts on that one.

I doubt it, none of them have impressed me since January so I can’t imagine any watching scouts would be impressed.

I’d be looking at certain players and wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole after these performances the last few months. Why would you want someone at your club who completely falls to pieces and then feels sorry for themselves when they put us in this position.I certainly wouldn’t.

It won’t stop an agent portraying the club as at fault and the player trying his best under the most difficult of situations.

Another great podcast lads - thanks

Whilst it’s not fun being a Saddler these days (more of an endurance than enjoyment) it’s interesting to hear that your views (both of you) are identical to most on here - I just hope BS listens in too because your thoughts and feelings on the Harry Williams situation are spot on and the club really isn’t handling it well at all
