Wonderful 2nd half performance and a 5-1 victory.
Many congratulations on achieving a club record of 8 consecutive wins, this really is a special team we’re watching.
I don’t blame the fans who stayed home to watch the game on the tele, unfortunately, the low attendance left the atmosphere a little flat, I blame the weather as a major contributor to that.
Finally: Well done to the great job the ground staff did in getting the game on.
Well done to the lads for achieving something we’ve not done for 137 years!
Well done to our fantastic fans who attended today, I know many of you could have stayed home but chose not to, you were well rewarded for your sacrifice.
And, well done to MS and his staff for keeping this wonderful run going, long may it continue!

Do you have Saddlers+? Full match replays are normally available on there the day after a game.

Dunno if you can get it on Sky?

Going to restart at 4pm as fog has apparently lifted.

In Adkins interview on Sky, he said they were going to rewatch the match to see what they can learn.
Respectfully, I suggest they watch the interviews with Matt, Lowe and Sadler - all about working for each other, helping each other out, and being delighted with teamate’s successes

There was one time in the first half when we broke from a corner and he was first over the halfway line.

According to Holloway:

“I haven’t seen anything like that (in my career). I don’t know. Is the fog attracted down by the players body heat?”

Or maybe brought there by a ghost, Ian

I think the rest of the league will be pleased to see that our postponement last week as affected us - we let a goal in!!!

I think we will be more than ok without Lowe it’s just a shame for him not to be able to be a part of a triumphant run in.

Saying that it’s our back five that are going to win us the league and Blues must be kicking themselves over Stirk who wouldn’t look out of place in their team now.

This is just great aye it.

The reds are going up!

Off for a curry and a Cobra .

I am glad I went to see history made with 8 wins a row. I don’t think we were at peak form but more than good enough to brush aside Tranmere. Obviously the run will end sometime but it is great being a saddler once more. Well done to all the players and the management team. There are so many players in good form at the moment it is difficult to choose a man of the match but I liked Stirk’s performance very much.Important we get him on a new contract as well as some others.

After several years of (at best) mediocrity this season feels like a dream.
For all of the young fans that are going with their mums and dad’s enjoy these times because they are memories you will treasure for the rest of your lives.
I didn’t think we were at our best today but didn’t need to be and for me what we are witnessing is something very special indeed.
Everyone associated with our club is playing a part in this and it feels as though nothing will stop us from winning this league.
Tranmere tried to drag us down to their level and we rose above it handing them a spanking.

Adkins pretty damming of his team tbf, nice didnt try and take away anything from us.

Take note grant

Always thought Adkin’s was a good bloke. His teams are horrible to play against (normally) but so they should be.

Grant doesn’t listen to common sense mate - an irritating wee man with a huge ego who never gives any credit to the opposition…

Yeah he was always one of those i wanted to manage us, in times gone by

Hes the type whose team would be 5-0 down, then have a lad sent off and say it impacted result

Cameron Norman lies poleaxed after being done by Liam Gordon.
Either that or Mrs HS forgot we play in red.
Was hoping we’d win 7-3 as 33 years ago today we lost 4 nil at Gillingham on my 40th!
