Tranmere Rovers (H) Jan 11th, 12.30pm kick-off

Fair play to Villa if this is true, we owe them a debt of gratitude if the game is on. My concerns stretch well beyond the playing surface though, what about the immediate surroundings of the arena, the undercroft could be an absolute catastrophe. Severe warnings for ice issued for the next 2 nights.

Just do what we used to do and wade through the snow to get to your seat.Bloody health and safety

Tranmere have currently sold 220 tickets for Saturday

I worry about Tranmere parking the bus - we could get frustrated and concede late on. Just like Harrogate at home last season.

Just hope we’re patient for this one. We deserved to beat them at Prenton park earlier this season. An early goal (like we could have got if we’d score the pen at Prenton) would be perfect.

They’re usually one of the few teams down here you can expect a respectable following from. That number is definitely reflective of their current league struggles.

Absolute catastrophe waiting to happen according to KingCrod and his severe warnings for ice.

I’m surprised that @KingCrod would dare to go out of the house.

Crikey KingCrod - I’m tempted to say chill out but it doesn’t seem appropriate given your doom and gloom forecast with this cold snap we’re having!

I seriously doubt the undercroft will be an ‘absolute catastrophe’ mate - it’ll be fine….:+1:

I am worried about my undercroft sitting on a cold seat :grinning: not having a Mistress to warm me up.

No pounding at the Poundland then?

I have to concur with the King on this one. We all need to be super careful especially given the Weatherspoons is open from 0800 and I will have had a good few jars. I will be wearing my crampons to make sure I’m not slipping too much and will stuff my coat with newspapers to keep the boy warmth in.

I think the body search by the stewards, will notice the boy hiding underneath your coat.
Sorry to disappoint, but while Wetherspoons is open at 8am, you can’t get a beer till 9am.

I am well past that.

Could always make up for lost time and go on the Lefe

Me too!

I’m looking forward to us continuing our form on Saturday. Props to the club for arranging the tent before it was too late. It ensures the club will have a decent playing surface at game time.
I’m glad the lads have had a nice rest before we attack the 2nd half of the season, we have to continue the rich vane of form we achieved in December and keep this run going.
I predict a comfortable victory.

Home ends not selling well at all either

Guessing folk may think it’s gonna be off

And it’s on the telly of course

This sky deal may prove not as beneficial as the club thought.!!! Who knows but 12.30 kick offs and being able to watch in the warmth of your own home must cost the club at least 1k on the gate as well as food and drink, merchandise income.
Be interesting to see what the attendance for this one is with team doing so well.

Good.

That may sound a bit off, obviously I want Walsall to do as well as possible. This isn’t just a Walsall thing though.

I’m lead to believe the deal was voted for unanimously by all clubs. Not a thought for supporters who follow the clubs every week.
