Pitch don’t pick the team or make substitutions Mat. It certainly did’nt coach the players all week. You did that. Not the pitch.
He also mentions not reaching standards. I think that sort of showing is the standard Mat so don’t beat yourself up for another below par underwhelming performance. Didn’t hit Sutton levels but can’t always deliver.

I like how he starts by saying “fair play to them, we knew about the pitch” and by the end it’s “a disgrace” etc.
Talks as if we play free flowing football on our own pitch, he is showing signs of cluelessness, the end is in sight for him.
Trivela set Sadler up to fail:
• Taking 4 weeks to appoint him, whist they interviewed everyone else.
• He was clearly not first choice, which the players, staff & fans all know.
• Promoting him from coach to manager, which was too big a leap.
• Recruiting players based on a formula not a system.
• Not recruiting a balanced squad.
• Recruiting a rinse & repeat squad, with too many old faces.
• Not supporting him with the right backroom staff & experience.
Sadler was doomed from the start, he has made a load of mistakes, loads. But Trivela set him up to do so in so so so so many ways.
This is exactly why we need a director of football.
I think Trivela are doing a great job on the non-football side of things, which I know might be an unpopular opinion), but the football sides performance is abysmal and undoing all the goodwill they should have.
We need to build now like Stockport have, Notts County, Brighton did it years ago, so did Brentford. That absolutely has to be our model - we’re trying it now with young players and resales etc, but it’s not cohesive enough. If we had a great DoF we’d also have a way better chance of the next managerial appointment being a good one after years of failures on this front.
Our budget is massively higher than when Bonser left (you can see that in the accounts), but we’re still failing. Our wage spend according to accounts is now very similar to what Mansfield spend! The difference in how well we’re using that money makes it so hard to believe, but it’s true.
We need a clear out from top to bottom, we can’t keep making the same mistakes, omelette himself stated that he knew nothing about football
Why would you buy a football club and leave someone who is clueless in charge?

If we go down they will be the worst owners in the history of the club, end of!
My biggest question for Trivela is why am I paying more for my ticket, watching piss poor football, while they are spending money buying other clubs. Every penny of that deal should have gone on this team.
The investors don’t seem too concerned at the moment…
We need a win Saturday and then a serious uptick in form in the league prior to New Year.
If we’re still in this position or worse by the end of the Wrexham game then Sadler needs to be gone. We can’t afford to let this go past that point or a serious prospect of non League football beckons.
I agree we must get some form back by the end of December. Last night was an awful watch. I felt really sorry for those who went.
And you trust these clowns in charge to get the appoint right ? Doesn’t matter who we bring in they will get it wrong .
We’d obviously need outside consulting and all the support we can get.
If we just accept that they’d get it wrong with every single appointment then we might as well stick with Sadler until he retires regardless of what happens.

I was going to say free drawstring bag with every purchase, but now it’s probably free half season tickets with every drawstring bag. 
Wonder if someone like Steve Bruce would be interested in job of DOF out of the game at moment loads of experience at all levels even if only short term or advisory Trivela certainly need someone with football insight experience and little black book which I’m sure he possesses.he’s still only 62 could offer plenty in that type of role .
Why doesn’t their webpage mention Drogheda? Youd think theyd mention them if they want to attract investment?
In fact there website doesn’t seem to have been updated since they bought Walsall (and had to change their original logo nicked from Cosair).
