Trivela Group Takeover

Any news on the CEO appointment?

I don’t expect that to be a quick appointment sadly.

Anybody already in a job at that sort of level will have a really long notice period and if they’re currently unemployed then that’s a bit of a red flag for a CEO.

We probably wouldn’t hear about them until they’re actually in the door either, which could easily be 3-6 months after they agree to join.

Good to see they’ve updated the website to now mention Drogheda

Someone new has joined the Trivela team.

Team - Trivela Group

Development football clubs in Africa and the Caribbean?

Yup, one in Haiti, one in Kenya, and a community team in Togo.

They were administered by another BB venture, Vapor Ministries (evangelical Christian group), but looks like they’ve been assimilated into the Trivela Group.

I’ve heard many strange theories about the intentions of Trivela but you’re the first to suggest they are The Borg

As long as we are one of nine, not nine of nine…

Well, there’s one Bjorn every minute.

Probably paid for it so most Walsall fans will be happy and not mind

Ouch, the club will get some backlash of that and rightly so.

That’s taking the pi** tbf. They could’ve easily put a pavement sign or something similar like outside newsagents.

No need to put something on the main structure of our stadium. I can deal with them putting banners and flags up in the locker for the day but this seems a bit much or am I reading too much into it?

Dont worry, that looks like it could be easily removed

Or painted over, especially that unsightly thing in the top right.

In what world does this sign need to have villa all over it? Just make it a plain sign?

Sometimes I wonder if there are any braincells left at the club. I can only hope it’s a temporary sign that hasn’t been removed yet.

Think a bit of an over reaction, if it makes the Villa Ladies feel more welcome and sells more tickets and spend more on food and drink whilst there its probably a shrewd £ 50 invested and saves the bother of having to remember to put it out bring it back in and find somewhere to put it. The Villa logo is essence is only very small. Forging better relationships with local Premiership & Championship clubs can only be a symbiotic solution for us as the benefactors

This is it. It’s a sign directing people to stands.
There is absolutely no need for the Villa colours and badge.
