I failed to get wound up by Villa decorating The Locker whilst paying to hire it but don’t understand the need for signage around the stadium with a Villa logo directing people to where the stands are when such signs already exist. Fingers crossed it’s temporary and will be taken down for Walsall matches

My thoughts too. I had to look to see what it was all about, then I noticed the small villa badge on the sign. I thought it was something to do with the frog in the background at first lol…

I was one of the biggest defenders of the whole Locker debacle but this is so tone deaf and unnecessary, that it’s almost laughable. I would very much like to know who gave the green light on this.
I renewed my season ticket this morning and wish I saw this beforehand. I would’ve emailed them stating that I would not be renewing if Villa colours and badges are going to be placed around our clubs’ ground. Utterly ridiculous.

Awful. Needs ripping down. I don’t care when the Villa women are playing, there’s just no need for a sign with Villa badges on it. They know they play at Bescot, the home of Walsall Football Club, so they should expect Walsall signage, and not Villa.

If the only way we can make money is to turn the ground and The Locker into Little Villa Park then I’d rather us be skint.

It’s got to be temporary surely? It is in Villa colours and not a Walsall badge in sight.
I get the feeling Trivela doesn’t really get how English football fans’ brains work. Which is fair enough but there should be someone left at the club who gets it. Plus after the reaction about the locker, which was a bit ott but you would have thought it would sound a few alarm bells.
It will be gone for Monday I’d imagine.

Villa Ladies are playing at Bescot v Leicester on Saturday.
I fully expect it to be gone after that game and reappear next season if they choose to rent bescot agin, This is their last game at Bescot this season. Their remaining home games are at Villa park.

Come on surely a sign isn’t gonna be the deciding factor whether a Villa fan gets a drink or not. I know they’re a strange lot but I doubt that would come into it

Should just be a removable one which can slide in and out of a frame as and when needed.
The existing direction signage is more than good enough, I’d have thought.

Hi there,
I hope you are well. I just wanted to express and share something that has really disgruntled many within the fan base. I’d appreciate if this could be relayed to Trivela.
The directional signage that has been put up to guide fans to the stand that they are sitting in. Why on earth has this been done in the colours of Villa and with their badge in? Is this a permanent sign or just used on a Villa match day? Either way, is it really necessary?
I just wanted to state for the record that I’m not one of these fans that will moan just for the sake of it. I was actually a vocal defender and advocate of the Villa ladies’ balloons and banners debacle in the Locker recently. I also appreciate that Aston Villa are a huge contributor towards our income and this is vital for our clubs’ health. I applaud the affiliation that you have developed with them and think it is beneficial for us.
However, if this sign is a permanent addition, then it is completely disrespectful, degrading and demeaning to our fan base. It might seem trivial and petty but this is a big deal to Walsall fans. There is a lot of inherent pride and identity that is attached to this football club and the fact that this has transpired screams of shortsightedness and a complete lack of awareness.
I was rather chuffed as I renewed my season ticket this morning. It’s the first time in a long long time that I have been hopeful and optimistic about the future of our football club and believe that Trivela are doing a grand job thus far. However, issues like this completely detract and take away from the positivity. Please can this be sorted out or some clarity provided.
