Trivela Group Takeover

Killed the cocky little prick years ago.

The most important question is why and how. Why they are here, why they choose WFC from all other possible clubs and how they want to achieve goals they set. Probably tomorrow, after that press conference, it will be clearer.

Cheaper and owner happy to sell.

What I was thinking Michal, obviously at face value this is good news, time will tell of course. For now, let’s just dream!

They’re after profits could be by gaining championship status.
Or using the ownership of the club for benefits as yet to come to light. We all hope its the former, but out of our control as usual.

There are 21 search results for Mike Ashley on this site where in a number he is being muted as a possible owner, be that some of it may have been tongue in cheek. A chap seemingly disliked at Newcastle owning a company with some reportedly “Victorian workhouse”employment practices.

We haven’t had real change in nigh on 20-30 years if we all believe Pomlett was just a reincarnation of Bonser. We are institutionalised so to speak so change is always going to be seen with caution and trepidation.

I’m with you, time to roll the dice and strap in and see where we go now.

Before June this year it was hard to find something about them on the net. I hope it will be good.

As PT says, who else we gonna sell too?

Sit back and enjoy the ride, I say! I’m excited for first time in a long while & very prepared to see what happens.

I’ve longed for tangible change for years & finally we have some. If it doesn’t work, then so be it, wasn’t like we were well run & destined for success as was.

Whatever happens it’s exciting right now.

USA USA USA!!
All of nothing I feel this could be
And dam that’s exciting for a change!!!

I quite like that it’s not a “fan” that’s bought us too after always being owned by lifelong fans who perhaps have been too deep into the people side of things and taken the hump at negative comments.

These guys will be just concerned with us winning and progressing at any cost, they won’t give a toss that people have been employed for years doing what many feel isn’t an acceptable job, you’d imagine they’ll look at things with an impartial and business-like outlook and that’s HUGE

Surely there goal is to get us Atleast to the championship where they may make some of there money back?
A league 1/2 club isn’t going to get their investment back in their lifetime unless you get a Watkins .
I imagine they will pump enough money in the playing side to get us to the levels they need us to be to see a return

That goes for all levels too, not just board. Our inability to do the basics like serve adequate refreshments, ticketing, even daft stuff like having a liaison come and say hello to companies sponsoring the match (I was in the box recently on behalf of the sponsor and the liaison couldn’t spare 2 mins to speak to us because she was “busy”, she rang me to choose MOTM) has been atrocious for YEARS. Even the facilities side, the stadium is in dire need of maintenance at the bare minimum and massive modernisation in many areas, this could be an easy win for the new owners to increase some revenue.

Could be the clean slate to becoming competent!

Well done Pomlett that’s some secret you’ve kept, my Mrs would have gone 30 secs before shouting it out.

The podcast I linked to mentioned that Crawley made no profit from selling beer to fans. Their new American owners found that incredulous. I can imagine a similar conversation between Trivela and Walsall

I see this as good news because it does seem exciting for the future of the club instead of the same old, same old we have been used to.

However, Polk might have $12 billion which they advise on, but its not his money its investors money and needs to go where it gets the best returns. However, I see we can expect Strategic Investment in the club which hopefully means we will see the investment needed to move up the leagues.

Interesting and exciting times.

The big question is dare we dream the impossible dream? Might we have a future where we have cantilevered stands all round?
In all seriousness though I would be amazed if the matchday experience isn’t improved massively, it’s just such a big part of American sports. There are high scool football teams in Texas that do it better than us! Eventually the cost of said improvements will be passed onto us but at least the sausage rolls won’t be burnt.
