Trivela Group Takeover

Big difference is that Man Utd are a great vehicle for servicing debt with their consistent revenue levels. We, on the other hand, are not.

Perhaps some synergies with Houston Dynamo is part of the benefits of the deal?

No need to worry on that front, Pombear is staying on for 4 years to impart his vast footballing knowledge. :joy:

What’s gewin on??!!

:open_mouth::smiley:

That marries up with the $2.9m figure in the link which was raised two weeks ago? I’m not too sure about this stuff, just trying to find some info about them

Fourth division of English football would be a good step up for those in the MLS! :joy:

I unblocked you for the day!! And I agree with every word of what you say here.

In terms of some kind of monetary return, a level of investment to get us out of league two would see us into a league one which has very much changed since we were there, with big clubs, big support and, with that, bigger outside investment and interest.

But, as you say, can they build us up to be the sustainable league one outfit which we then need to be? It’s definitely not as easy as throwing money at a situation, as the likes of Wrexham, Scunthorpe, Mansfield etc, will tell you.

End of Errea, and Nike back next season IMO

Not sure I like this if I am honest. Usually when something seems to good to be true it isn’t.

Only promotion within the last 20 years came under Nike’s tenure, right?

Why would Gamble be “on his bike” when, as Pomlett acknowledges, he has been heavily involved with securing this investment and, I suspect, will have enhanced his reputation with the new owners. They may well want some stability in there, at least in the short to medium term.

The question that nags at me is: why do they want to do this? Pomlett is a supporter.

What happens if the gift horse has rotten teeth?

What I can’t square is that the way Pomlett talked at the start was we needed to be a League 1 club before this investment materialised. Has this group always been interested and have they invested early because Pomlett has, up until now, shown no reason to believe he would get us promoted back to that level under his sole guidance.

because dealing with people on one project is different to dealing with them day to day people get found out
