They have a lot to answer for from January onwards. Being generous these last few months have been a massive learning curve but in reality they’ve sat on their hands just like the last lot in a crucial January window and ultimately made things worse once it had closed.
Also given Sadler way more of a chance than Bonser would.
Not sure if I look forward to the review and then E&S interview a week or two after the season ends as I get the feeling the “overachievement” line will be spun to the max in that.

I would disagree a bit, because he ran out of ideas years ago. He got what was important to him and the footy club wasn’t.

Pointing at Trivela gives Sadler a bit of a pass.
January was more than enough to be better than The 4th worst team in the league.
My only problem with Trivela is that they should have potted Sadler after Barrow. He’d earned that level of patience but the club desperately needed a spark. Trivela, like Sadler with his subs, have left it too late.
But at least 80% of this is on Sadler. He’s appalling.

Trivela has two problems that are quite difficult to deal with. One is the class difference between the leagues, and the other is the SCMP. I’d say Trivela is working behind the scenes, but it will take some time to see if it’s successful or not.

The thing that baffles me is why they were so quick to give Sadler a new contract when he had accidentally fell on a good run from a forced line up, when they had in all truth come over before Christmas to actually sack his ass.

I’d be interested to know how many games without a win they will put up with.
Just so we can decide how many games to give a miss.

I guess because we were flying at the time and they believed that losing him would derail things - they opted to pay him…..
It’s just a shame they didn’t have such determination and commitment when Stoke were enquiring about recalling Lowey and Lincoln were having a laugh at our expense with Draper… (sorry, don’t want to keep dwelling on it..)

Why was a proven goalscorer with a knack of scoring crucial late goals (Salford at home, Donny away are just two recent examples) left out of the squad and left to go to the zoo in a must win game?

I thought tbh we were a better passing side today ( not the right thread I know sorry) and our build up play was much better ( even though it was against one of the poorist sides ) but as soon as we got in front of goal it all turned to shit.

Trivia gave Sadler funds to improve tge team in January. From what bits we have seen itcshpuod hve been enough tovseevus home. However, Saddler choose to pick the same players and run them into the ground instead of integrating these new players into the team. His virtual none use of DJ is a prime example of having a good asset but choose not use it. Most supporters on here could see that his teams were not the way to go so why couldn’t Trivia. The fact that Trivia have choosen not to act gives me cause for concern. If as very likely we do not get promoted and Saddler is still here next season who will come and play for a club and Manager that “bottled” it. We will be heading for relegation and out of the league with our debt building as supporters will stay away. The only way is down I fear unless Trvia get a grip and do what they should have done some time ago and sack Saddler who does not have a footballing brain. He stumbled onto Lowe but the last 4 months have shown he should not be near any football team.
