If we play the whole game like the second half against county we will win this easily.
If we play like we did the first game at their place we will be in trouble which will be carried forward to the game against Tranmere Saturday.
We did this plenty of times under Flynn when the Knowles “long” throw was our main tactic!

I thought this was just a Flynn thing It’s like when someone calls you by the wrong name and you dont correct them … 3 years later you are still Bob from accounts. Someone must have told Knowles he was the next Rory Delap and since then no one has had the heart to put him straight.

Remember going to watch us against Sheff Wednesday many, many years ago, got stuck in traffic and arrived about 5 minutes after k o. At the turnstile the guy charged me £27, I said astounded, concession mate, I’m nearly 70! He replied that IS concession price my friend!
Hope we brush the part timers aside tonight, need to keep a winning momentum going.

Just caved in and purchased a couple of tickets for tonight… desperate for a win under the lights and the team (and the wally who calls himself head coach) to build on Saturday… if the unthinkable was to happen I want to be there to witness Sadler clearing his desk

It should be a good game. From a financial point of view, Alfreton already won a cup, but on the pitch? Nah, it will be a visible gulf of class between teams.
