Kanu, Flint & Roberts so flipping important.
We’re a recall (or two) & an injury away from the unthinkable. Over to you Trivela!

Another win, another clean sheet, still top of the league.
That’ll do me.
Even though we were out hoofed yet again ![]()

How lucky we are to have @NewportSadOldGit to give Jamma the booing he needed to up his game enough to score.
As Chris Nichol used to say, “I love one nil”
Great result lads! Wherever whatever whichever whoever up the f**kin saddlers
Much improved performance and another 3 points in the bag. Thought the atmosphere was that you’d expect at a wake. Thought Weir Barratt and Browne had great games and Flint was immense as usual. Sadler rightly hooked Jellis at HT. Great start to what is an important 4 games. UTS.
Thoughts on today we controlled the game really well apart from the last 8 or 9 mins when they pushed on a bit. Flint was immense as always and tbf rico and Evan played well. Finnigan and comley ratted around the midfield really well. JJ looks lost and totally devoid of confidence. Jamma’s hold up play was fantastic and good finish. Daniel was a nuisance but needs to lift his head up for better options. Elvis’s miss was a shocker could and should’ve took it first time in the opposite corner. 2 wing backs were great just final delivery was poor. Albert was intelligent as ever especially at the end. Clarke did okay too. Myles with a good save at the end. Defence was ace in front of him. Crewe were poor. Great win and 3 valuable points ![]()

I see Chesterfield were triumphant in the ‘Football as Poetry Derby’.
Wonder if the tactical sub of jellis at ht will mentally effect jellis ?
That was so annoying even tho we won ,They offered no threat all game ,Jamma had one of his better games this season ,but when we are ahead and on top , last 10 min we hold on sit back and defend, we are our own worse enemy. Why invite so much pressure on our selves we was easily in control of that game until the last 10 mins .
And here’s me thinking people are allowed to express their opinions on UTS whether you happen to agree with them or not. Maybe I was wrong.
Thought they came for a point had no threat up front at all .they were much better when they bought on Bogle and a few more attacking forward subs in second half and posed a few more problems but Flint as usual immense can’t wait for Crod’s assessment on his performance.
We were good, reminded me of times early last season when we suffocated teams and ground out the results. Crewe were poor and their only tactic was falling over in the second half.
Defense excellent and Matt was okay. Really worried about Jellis now, looked so off the pace and we improved massively once he was hooked. I don’t think Clarke played particularly well just that Jellis was so poor in comparison.
Loved Adomah in the last minute taking the ball to sideline rather than giving them an opportunity to counter. He has so much football intelligence that I hope our squad is learning from.
An excellent team performance. We played some really good stuff at times .Barratt played well except some of his crosses were not up to his usual standard.Flint and Browne outstanding at the back, the latter improving match by match. Also a word for the much maligned (on here) Comley who I thought was very good today. On we go…another tough game on Monday.
I think the atmosphere issue is a hangover from last season. We are doing well and in a good position, but I think everyone is on tenterhooks waiting for the wheels to fall off.
Crewe manager not happy said denied a stonewall penalty. I didn’t see that what’s he on about anyone see it ?
No, you were right Sid. Lots of opinions being expressed, and they all seem to be being allowed ![]()
Yes, from seeing it once, it was a good tackle and the ref got it spot on.
They didn’t show a replay of it on Sads+
