W 1-0 vs Newport County (A) - League Two - Sat 6th Aug, 3pm

I’d say that after the last few years. Stick with the same after a 4-0 win. This is uncharted territory though. Extended subs, a manager with a plan, competent players. Not sure if we’d line up the same home and away, or have the same idea of how to manage the game, so could be interesting.

Note I am not advocating we set up to counter the opposition every game, as that’s conceding before you start. Make them play you, then adapt as you go.

Personally I can’t see how you can change a side that smashed someone 4-0.What will happen though is the likes of Hutchinson will have to keep their levels high because there are players chomping at the bit on the bench.Competition for places is a good thing as long as the players you’ve bought in understand that there’s a good chance that if they drop 10-15% you will be replaced. So for me same 11 regardless of being away from home because you still have plenty at the back to get you through this one.

I’m getting a bit scared and upset by all the positivity this season. Can it stop? I want my Walsall back!

Luckiest man alive tomorrow has to be @PeeFourTeeFive !! A nice free ticket now that’s a Brucey.I have a feeling this will be a sterner test but one we will still come through unscathed.Top of the league played 2 won 2 after a 3-1 victory.

At least we had a week at the top I’ll be honest I’ve screenshot the league as a memento .Wish I was going tomorrow but as I’ve said I’m helping the old man remove a window to get furniture out.I’ll be back at it the week after when we are at home.I’ve even got a mate from work coming along. He hasn’t been for years but wants a piece of this action!.So @RedandWhite we have another in the railway next week.:+1:t2::beers:

I hope it’s his house and you’re not a team of father and son burglars.

I had DJ to score and Walsall win at 4/1 last weekend, tomorrow it’s 13/2 on sky bet, generous imo.
I’m going 3-1 with DJ, Hutchinson and Williams to score.

I’ve lumped on us to win 4-2. 150-1 with Coral.
My main site is BET365, but their odds on the 4-2 last season were often half of Corals, so I’ve opened a special “lump on” account with Corals just for the 4-2’s.

I’ll be watching live from the Czech Republic.

Are you streaming or ifollow Scoob?

Ifollow mate, a mate at work has shown me how to use these VPN thingy mebobs so I’ve downloaded the app to the laptop and I’ve tried it earlier to see if it allows me to buy a match pass instead of an audio pass for tomorrow’s game if it thinks I’m in France or the Czech Republic or wherever it decides to stick me .Someone will probably come on and tell me it won’t work but at this present time it looks like it will.
