W 2-1 vs Shrewsbury Town (A) - Sat 28th Feb, 12:30pm (League Two)

Fair play to all the fans who are going tomorrow I decided I cant be bothered to go

Has there ever been a time where such a huge percentage of the fan base just can’t be arsed to go and watch us play?

Yep. DM me.

Tomorrow could be a win win situation no matter what the result is.

Yep, 2-0 win.

Sadler safe for now.

Trivela relieved they don’t need to give their mate the tin tack.

Which away pub is near Shrewsbury ground? The train service is pretty poor.

So lots of you hoping for a loss because that would potentially move Sadler on, rather than the three points that might help us into the play offs.

Crazy stuff.

A win is priority and takes presidency for me. Need to keep pressure on the teams above.

No trains to Shrewsbury tomorrow, it’s a replacement bus service from Wolves. That means the journey will be a bit longer than usual, and when you reach Shrewsbury station the walk to the ground will take you the best part of another hour, so allow plenty of time.

The nearest pub is the Brooklands (about 10 minutes walk away, the other side of the big roundabout) which used to have a separate (and pretty inferior) bar for away fans, but I don’t know if it still does. It also has a car park that fans can use (not sure how much they charge).

If you can find it (tucked away in a Belle Vue back street that is heavily overparked), the Prince of Wales is away friendly and well worth a visit. It’s a good half hour walk from the ground, but it runs a shuttle coach service to the ground (ask at the bar).

There is also a fan zone with a bar at the ground that allows away fans in.

With a 12:30 kick off you won’t have much time for a session before the game, but afterwards there are loads of good pubs around the town centre - although they might be a bit more picky than usual, especially if you’re wearing colours.

I want us to win always do but they are flying I fear another defeat and that should be the end of Sadler if it isn’t then its becoming a joke.

I’ve given up on promotion.

Which is quite liberating.

Means today has no context other than a day in Shrewsbury and a game in isolation. No league table to obsess about just a case of trying to beat these hermits and demonstrating again that despite the kick off time, despite being shit, despite there being no trains and despite it being on the telly, there’s no comparison in terms of the loyalty of the fanbases.

Into these.

Ye. Nutty.

Whoever is in charge 3 points is more important than anything.

Hopefully a win, will be difficult.

I’ve never wanted Sadler as manager but even if a loss guaranteed him the sack I could never want to lose to Shrewsbury whatever the reason.

By lots you mean one post?

Yes he’s so dramatic

Not just on this thread

Which other ones?

Even if we lose today Sadler will not be going anywhere, he seems very confident in his demeanor that he knows he won’t, but lose today and the fact we don’t win on a Tuesday night in the league and County next Saturday, lose the 3 and he will be in trouble then

Two teams who are opposite ends of the form table. To get anything out of this game will be extremely difficult but not impossible. As to the manager, he’s going nowhere atm. Personally I’d prefer to see the back of this style of football but can’t see things changing anytime soon.

It would be just Sadler luck to win the next 3 games and walsall to earn the bookies a fortune and break everyone coupons today. Form goes out the window when it’s a derby. I’ll go with 1-0 jellis to finally score.
