Match thread for our visit to Salop…
Hope I’m wrong but I can’t see anything other than a Salop win. 3-1. Surely that’ll be the end of Sadler?
Statistically of course, a match up of 5 wins Vs no wins in 7 should come to end… so draw or Walsall win… lump on 9/4 away win…
Cant see where our next win is coming from with sadler in charge
2-0 to the super Saddlers! We can do this. Let’s get behind the lads and out sing the SSB
Against my better judgement I think we will win 2-0. Time for the Manager and players to get the club moving again. Failure to perform must surely bring forward a change in management. Anymore games like Barnet and MK Dons will surely mean the end of this era.
I wonder if Sadler’s picked the team’s names out of the hat yet.
I’d pick:
Subs: Kilroy, Priestly, Comley, Clarke, Adomah, Pressley, Lakin
Another inept performance 2-0 defeat.
A bad time for us meeting the Sloppies who are currently on fire form wise and got 15 out of 18 points in the last 6 games. Over the same last 6 games we have garnered a paltry 3 points out of 18. Cant see anything more than a 3-1 loss, hopefully this could be twizzlenecks downfall as the massive away crowd will be toxic if we lose badly and another shite performance
3-1 defeat
Loads of Sadler out chants , followed by him being sacked on Monday.
I think it’s the end of the road for him.
The referee for this one is Richard Eley from Derbyshire. A relative newbie gaining his promotion to EFL level towards the end of the 24/25 season.
He has officiated one Walsall FC game so far, a 0-1 home Vertu Trophy loss to Northampton Town in October 2025.
His last and only game so far officiating Shrewsbury Town was on Boxing Day 2025 an away 3-1 defeat at Cheltenham Town.
Lets see how this one goes.
He does but most the time it’s too an opposition player
I’d be happy if a loss gets sadler out the club. Short term hit for long term gain
I really hope we can pull this round and somehow grab a victory.
As Bernie’s form table shows though in terms of form - it’s first vs last in the league and I can’t see how we’ll do it.
Will watch on with hope rather than expectation. Well done to the 1500+ fans making the trip.
Something tells me we will pull this one out of the bag. Wouldn’t be the first time the odds have been stacked against us and we’ve won.
My lads game tomorrow has just been called off. If anyone knows of 3 tickets going, let me know please. Cheers.
Judgment day. Another loss and he has to go surely?
How does their pitch cope with heavy rain? Because it’s been pissing down for hours and it’s set to continue through the night.
Toxic if appropriate tomorrow. ![]()
