I reckon Riley is probably most suited to the 8 role. Decent technically and can carry the ball forward. I don’t think Sadler has quite found his preferred XI yet, but at least we know there’s not going to be loads of squad churn between now and the end of August, which means he ‘should’ hopefully work it out fairly quickly.
Hutchinsons pass behind our attacking players in the box was 2nd half. Sorry I can’t give you exact time but maybe you were daydreaming and missed it because if you saw it you certainly wouldn’t forget it.
I think we just need to find the right position for Riley, there were times against Morecambe when he was unplayable. But unfortunately he ran out of steam as the game went on.
There’s a good player in there.

Another note from the EFL ‘stats’ brigade, Stockport have THE most expensive line up in Division 4 on player value, even beating the mighty Wrexham BBC F.C. Gillingham coming very close second… note they had a great win in the League cup on Tuesday, a team to fear perhaps moreso than the usual suspects?
He actually held the ball up and linked players better than any match last season. That impressed me has much has his shooting. Just needs consistent players consistently feeding him in the right areas

Could invest in some lighting. 
Im lucky to be going to the game tomorrow, as my two sons have brought me a season ticket. Have had one for a while now, but with getting diagnosed with cancer i didnt think i would use one. Even though i am currently under emopheropy and chemotherapy. They brough one for me even if i cannot make each game so proud of them. Anyway think if we start bright and press we could get a good result tomorrow.

If Stockport hadnt started slow, maybe an adjustment period, they would have walked the division last season.
They are a huge test. A good marker to test all the theories that we playing an improved style of football.

Sadler has thrown the gauntlet down to the fans to get right behind his team, I’ll certainly be bringing my big singing voice tomorrow and leaving my little singing voice at home. Let’s get the place absolutely rocking tomorrow afternoon.
