There was something that happened today that you can’t really put your finger on and can’t be shown by stats - When it was 1-1 with 5 to go it just felt like we had that belief , momentum , call it what you like, to score . I don’t think anyone was surprised we won that in the end .
The back 3 and Kinsella really are a terrific base for the creative players to thrive .

The stats say they had 3 shots on target to our 2. However, 2 of theirs were the goal (initial shot and then the rebound), and for some reason our first goal isn’t included (even though Knowles’ shot was hitting the target, they’ve discounted it for being an OG).
In that context, we were the more deserving of the points.

I thought we very much looked like a team that hadn’t played a competitive league game for a good while first half(sluggish)and even then they didn’t look like a 4th placed teams length away from us.Then second half we in my opinion improved hugely and the difference in our performance alongside their lack of any real threat must have gave Flynn the green light to make the subs he did.He obviously didn’t see why we should settle for a point and with how todays game had gone mixed in with a team on a real good run he must have thought here’s a chance to turn these over and so it proved.
Whisper it quietly, but could something good be developing? If you compare our previous couple of performances against Swindle where they murdered us home and away to today. We were impressive at times today, they weren’t.

Don’t think that Swindon team is as good as last seasons being fair but we are much better than the team they pasted twice Monthe and Daniels are my players of the season so far both have been immense.

Why did several of the Swindle players, including the keeper, all appeal for offside against Manny Monthe when the ball clearly ricocheted off 2 of their own defenders nowhere near any of our players???
