W 2-1 vs Swindon Town (H) - Sat 2nd Aug, 3.00pm (League Two)

Your post contained Sadler Out after a temendous opending day win with 10 men. Says more about you than anything I can say lol

Triggered? Nah just heightened emotions after an opening day win. Which I intend to enjoy

Have a wonderful evening sobbing into your dinner

All this about last season is a bit tedious now , long way to go but a massive win against a team who will be up there at the end , sounds like a truly hard fought win , we’re back onwards n upwards
Having a cerveza to toast the lads :+1:

I’d have given Flint MOTM today I thought he was absolutely superb.

Swindon need to bring a better class of referee with them.

Brilliant win in the circumstances. Hard to tell much about the season ahead given the red card but we defended very well and scored two great goals, which is a pretty good start. Flint was immense, and I thought Clarke looked excellent when he came on. Having spent the last couple of months hating football, now I obviously love it again.

Evan Weir for me, outstanding performance from him. And there was me thinking cox would start ahead of him :see_no_evil_monkey: such great spirit from the lads

Lovely one-two for that second. Great anticipation by both of them.

Sure you haven’t just forgotten to shake it before putting it back?

Well done Walsall. Did well to win that. I still have an hangover from last season but that has helped a lot :+1:

Have you written that list yet?

Very impressive display, very good up until the red card, then a defensive masterclass with 10 men.
Flint gives us more solidity, Browne is just quality, and Weir makes it look like we’ve still got Allen!!
Pressley very good, surprised how quick he is
With Comley now out for 3 games, perhaps Sadler can now get some quality into the CDM role.
I have no words regarding the ref

Swindon were awful!!

Replace Comley and we look decent.

11 men and I think we bang 3/4 past that lot.

Enjoyed the win today Sid?

Or too busy goading others and wallowing wrapped in that negative comfort blanket

Im off to work now where I shall have some jars in celebration of a pretty good opening day while spinning some music. A pretty solid Saturday

Well done Matt Sadler, well done the boys

Got to say great turn out today well done you great fans

If Stuttle had been on when Pressley had that run on goal and shot straight at the keeper because there was no other option I’m sure it would have been a simple tap-in.

Battled well. Good win, we need more options off the bench for the forward line. If we can’t get anyone in before the window slams shut, I’d recall Wragg to be on the bench, he’s got something about him.

I thought Clarke changed the game when he came on.
