Will we play the understudies and kids or give another chance to those on the beach last week?
we never do well at Barrow, hate the trip up there and those Barrow fans who made fun of the Saddlers fan that got murdered in Blackpool so personally won’t object to them dropping out of the league.

I understand why people aren’t bothered, but I hope Walsall do put in effort to win.
There will come a time when we need favours from other teams with nothing to play for.

Like next season when we are in Barrow’s position!! To be fair, Fleetwood very nearly did us a favour last season at Bradford - we owe them one.

I hope we win . I don’t think we will but it doesn’t really matter. Next season is what matters now and we have to be ready.

First game I’m missing through choice in years.
Performance last Saturday annoyed me and couldn’t justify going all that way on rail replacement buses to sit in the worst away end in the country with absolutely nothing to play for.

The referee for this one is Scott Oldham from Lancashire. Well established official.
His last Walsall fixture was our wonderful 0-0 home draw with Crawley Town back in January this year.
The last time he officiated Barrow was in November 2025 their 0-2 home defeat to Cambridge United.
As most of us are not bothered about this fixture it seems that has rubbed off on the match officials too, both of the linesmen and the fourth official that were originally allocated to today`s fixture have cried off and all been replaced. At least the ref has only got a short trip but the replacement fourth official has got the short straw he is coming from Sheffield, poor sod.
Oh well lets see how this one goes.
0-0 as a result will probably sum up this season.

Even after last season’s trip to witness the debacle at Barrow I was intending to go principally because Sadler wasn’t in charge but early kick off and rail replacements has put paid to that. Call me fickle but that’s how I roll 
Safe journey to all fans who go, obviously hope we win.

It was in the balance until last Saturday. Mind was made up at 94 minutes.
A kids birthday party in Llangollen was far more fun than going to Barrow.
Hats off to all who have made the ball ache of a journey. I hope the team at least try to repay your loyalty!
