W 3-1 vs Barrow (A) - League Two - Sat 18th April, 12:30pm

Hopefully shut those Crawley fans up who were calling us a charity case!! And, we owe Barrow one - for various reasons!! “2-0, in your cup final!!”

These are so bad, we should be looking at another two at least.

Too little too late.

Also I went to this game in October. 1-0 down, Barrow down to ten men and they still score another five minutes later!:joy: They’ve actually picked up a few wins recently so were probably worse in October and says it all for their level they’re missing Josh Gordon badly in final third.

Losses to them in first half of the season is what is costing top 7.

Who’s singing that? I don’’t really understand the context.

Thanks but no.

Probably the most talented player at the club, I can’t see why we bothered having him back. The fact we were playing loopi instead of him makes no sense at all to me. Now we have nothing to play for he starts him.

And that, AP, is what makes it all so depressing! We have beaten almost all the top 10 teams. If we hadn’t thrown away points against Cheltenham away, Notts County at home and had two insipid 0-0 draws at home against Accrington and Crawley, we’d still be in with a shout!!

Barrow have to make some subs at HT.I reckon they must have burnt themselves out on Tuesday. They’re so sluggish ,they look like the team with nothing to play for.

Mat Sadlers stubbornness.

Barrow must be the worst side in the league by some stretch for us to be “dominant”. It’s a dead rubber game as are the next two, so for a bunch of bottlers it’s a lot easier when nothing is on the line. I will look forward to waving goodby the the majority of this bunch next Saturday, the only reason I will be going tbf. Gonna take in Rushall Olympics relegation 6 pointer this afternoon and I suspect there will be as much quality on show at Dales Lane that we have endured from Walsall this year

I disagree there Steve. The energy from the players was lethargic. I think that was the primary reason.

Why were the players were lethargic? I don’t know. It’s a tough time of year for footballers, but it’s the same for all sides.

Not all teams spent so much time chasing the ball.

Home form has cost us,we look great away but for some reason no drive and desire at home.

If the main goal for the season was ‘don’t get relegated’, that explains few things.

I think he’s made a few good saves, unlucky with the first and unsighted for the second. If it were Roberts at the other end I’d be creaming at him no doubt!

This is where the test will come for me now. Barrow will obviously come at us, have we got the character and nous to see the game out

I’m happy if we sit back as long as we offer a threat on the counter. Personally I’d say to them just keep on doing what you’re doing (just maybe pass to a red shirt more often in the case of some!)

And that’s exactly why you need to bring in fresh players in January, and play them, Sadler! Pattison and Okeke should have played more, and we should have also brought in a more experienced forward than Loopy. That’s were the mistakes were made - again!!

Cracking save from Myles there

Which bit? The Crawley quote was on Facebook. As for the chant: that’s what I’d be singing if I was there, after Barrow bigged up today’s game so much!!

How aren’t we winning 8-0?
