I remember the John Barnes chant - it made me feel sick. There is no place for that sort of abuse in a football stadium, or anywhere for that matter. I am certainly not “woke”, but I don’t like discrimination, and as a Catholic, I don’t appreciate derogatory chants about the Pope either!!
