Yeah paul mason and his team worked wonders, he told me there was standing water earlier in the day all down the middle of the pitch.

Not against giving Allen another contract, but struggle to see where he fits in when everyone is fit and if we want to bring in better during the summer.

Yeah i agree…i wouldnt rock the boat now regardless. Its working and he’s helping make us the threat we are at the moment.

But I suppose that if so, he would normally have been subbed.
But due to lack of cover it’s difficult.
Allen could have switched but then no cover in central defence.

On current form he is best and most natural left CB we’ve got with added advantage of a quality delivery with his left peg

Madness to let him go. He’s been a key part of this run and have others have said probably has some of the best dead ball delivery at the club. He’s earned the right to play and if it means some of the ‘names’ get splinters sitting on the bench. So be it. Good. Cos 1 in particular has not been good enough
You like to come across as understanding football but clearly you don’t as no one in their right mind would drop Taylor Allen at the moment. Did you not hear the fans chanting his name?

Days like today make me miss it loads.
I did say at the end of last season, if they give me reason to spend my money on them again, I will. I think they’ve shown something now, it’s taken a while to get it sorted, but we know what we are doing, important players are being tied down, and we are achieving a level of success.
I would love to get a ST next season, funds are massively tight though, so I’ll have to scramble around before the Early Bird finishes! If I can, I will!

When did i ever say to drop him from the team currently?
I was on about next season where we’ll have Daniels, Farquharson, McEntee, maybe Okagbue, maybe Adegboyega, Williams for centre half options and Gordon and Weir for wing back options.
Plus anyone else we bring in during the summer.
Every single player was superb today. Special praise for Allen and Comley - absolutely class!

Confidence is everything in football and we’ve got bucket loads atm. I was a bit surprised with motm going to Liam as personally I thought Comley was immense today.
There’s a great atmosphere now and long may it continue.
Even MS has a twinkle in his eyes and rightly so.
The team looks totally together and you can see how much it means to them to have the crowd roaring them on.

Scouts will be well aware of the form of the stoke and Norwich loanees !!! Including their home clubs. I can assure you that neither of those 2 are going to be handed as a freebie to Walsall like the hapless Doug Taylor was.
Hence secure Allen now whilst we can still have some influence over the situation.
If some of the bigger names to move on to make room. I’m thinking of 1 in particular. Good. I’m fine with that

One puzzle for me was why Donny players lost it in thee second half? Perhaps they didn’t like being outplayed. There was some sly stuff going on that we did well to steer clear of. Full marks to Hutch(?) for calming Gordon down after a nasty foul. And to the ref for booking their’s, but having a chat with Gordon.

His form has been incredible - absolutely faultless. He offers so much to the team. It would be naive of us if he didn’t sign a longer term contract in my opinion.

100 % agree. Been outstanding. But the resident ‘oracle’ of this board appears to be saying we can’t find room for him next season on the basis we need to slot some of the ‘underperformers’ back in. Bonkers!!!
