W 3-1 vs Doncaster Rovers (H) - League Two - Sat 2nd March, 3pm

As I remember it, you weren’t always that complimentary about Earing, yourself.

It wouldn’t have been me who said that cos I have always thought he had potential. Seems a lot more mobile and energetic since returning, but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

It is rare indeed…some players never get back to their best! As someone said above Hutchinson now has a partner who can help with the attacking element of our midfield whilst the excellent Comley plays the key defensive role.

This was from July 23 which hardly looks like hindsight to me…..much more like foresight….almost prophetic :rofl::winking_face_with_tongue:

I really dont think he or anyone else associated with the real Dons will give a monkeys. That bloke will never have to pay for a pint again in SW London. I’d be happy to get him a few in :grinning:

By rights he should have been sent off, throwing his shirt off is a yellow and nearly injuring the boy adds up to a red.

This is scary. Bought drinks in the Albert MacPherson suite and on my account it is showing as:

Still hanging around I see, as long as it doesn’t find it’s way to Cyprus I suppose…

Looks like someone hasn’t thought to update the tills, but I guess would be even scarier if it came up with Albert’s name being that he is unfortunately no longer with us.

Took a look at their Forum. Generally, I thought it was a bit more positive that UTS would have been has we lost. But they did say they lost to a good team of play-off standard.

A couple of comments made me smile. One was that the ball had crossed the line in the skirmish after Smith’s fumble and the other was them complaining about their 5 yellow cards to our zero.

I have to be honest, I thought at the time that it had crossed the line.

Been and done the Wembley tour today, chosen where we sitting for the playoff final.

We did the Tottenham tour in June and 3 months later went back to watch a game.

Booked this for my son’s birthday present and at the time (November) said, well three months later we can go and watch Walsall in the playoffs. Of course it was tongue in cheek when I said it but now who knows.

On another positive note, DJ starts back in training on Monday, DD and the Priest should be back by the end of March. And more good news is that Osin is ahead of his recovery schedule and hopes to be able to play some sort of part in the last few games of the season.

That’s good news thanks for the update. I said to DJ on Tuesday when will you be ready he said ‘I’m ready now but try convincing the physio of that’ all tongue in cheek. The more players we can get back fit the better, particularly if our season may be extended although probably won’t be as we’ll finish 3rd :joy:

I like to be! If we can’t be positive after the last few weeks when can we be.

I am being a bit tongue in cheek but if we keep at it and finish as high as we can then who knows where that will be.

Yes, that was indeed my take on it - we might be paying a percentage of his wages to WBA but he isn’t getting a pay rise out of it.
