Yes, I was being diplomatic about Menayese but sometimes a spell on the bench can help. We know he can do it.
The best teams have players that go flat out most matches and coaches that inspire them to do that. It’s easier when there is a target of promotion but harder otherwise. All our players are capable of doing at least OK at this level. For example, the whipping boy Osadebe was outstanding against FGR. But Taylor could never get them to do it partly because there was no leader on the field.

Must win game, so nothing to worry about. Must be a reaction after the last game, so don’t bottle it. That wouldn’t be nice.
He will have to learn the ‘Walsall way’ 1) Our team never score more than one goal. 2) we do lots of faffing around in front of goal looking likely to score, but not actually doing so. 3) Midfielders don’t get involved in the goalmouth, your remit is to pass sideways or backwards. 4) We do not score from free kicks. 5) Lump the ball forward at all times. 6) Free kicks and corners must be driven straight to opposition players.7) Don’t try to get involved in defending, we have a superb back line that can let the opposition free run at goal at all times.
Now go out there and do your stuff Lee…
On a more serious note, the Monkey Hangers are on a better run recently, so the best we can hope for is a 1-1 draw perhaps? Every point is nectar towards our survival.

I hope there will be a reaction to Tuesday night’s shambles. Would be nice to see us score a few goals so I am going for a 3-2 victory.
Myself and our George will be there. We will be getting right behind the team, only because KingCrod implored us to though. We usually only go for the sausage rolls.

Excited for Flynn’s first home game. Just hoping that excitement doesn’t wear off after 5 minutes!
