W 3-1 vs Mansfield Town (H) - League Two - Sat 11th Sept, 3pm

Mansfield do look decent going forward. The only prediction I’ll make is more goals- as Taylor scores!

Wish I had the Saddlers commentary on this

So it seems George Miller might be the hold up player we needed after all :joy:

It’s been a great start, but I don’t think this game is over ,yet. Mansfield do look like they know what they’re doing on the attack.

Love the way he times his runs. Hasn’t been caught offside yet

First game back since Forest Green shambles. Big improve in match day experience. Fair play.

Excellent first half.

Miller looks quality.

What a 1st half performance. Could be 3.

I was sceptical about Miller but colour me surprised.

Kinsella, that bloke who isn’t a centre mid, absolutely outstanding again.

Mansfield are at 6s and 7s with even the most straightforward ball forward. They look poor defensively and we look comfortable. I just hope our legs last. Nothing on the bench to change it up.

That was absolutely superb

Surprisingly, one team looked poor and made some defensive mistakes. Doesn’t matter, the score is good. And we looked, how I could say it, very professional in doing stuff on the pitch. I hope the second half will be similar in quality.

An excellent half of football!!
Please please please keep it up

Can’t believe the difference. Miller looks very good so far. If only his shot that hit the crossbar went in. He may not be the big, conventional target man, but he sure knows how to occupy centre halves with his runs etc.

I have really enjoyed this first half. Hope it continues.

According to George Bowerman “everyone knows that 2-0 up is the worst scoreline in football” :joy:

Will be a test for Matt Taylor to see how he counters whatever changes Clough makes second half.

Ducking brilliant first half
