W 3-1 vs Wrexham (H) - League Two - Fri 29th Dec, 7:45pm

Surprised he’s got time with the new year pheasant shoot and hosting the annual bash for his faithful beaters .

And how many are Wrexham fans or fans of the celebs

Loads will be fans of the celebs like any big club with a famous connection
Name any of the big clubs in the world and 90% of the fan base are glory hunters / armchair fans
Even smaller clubs like hashtag United and Salford got more fans cus of the famous connections

So it’s not actually 2000 Wrexham fans then

9500 average home gate .wouldnt say no to a few celeb’s at Walsall .

Only if it were 9,500 actual WFC fans

Just imagine the threads on here about glory hunters stopping them getting tickets.

We’re a football club aren’t we welcome visitors were not Augusta National Golf Club.

There’s a bloke in his early 50s who goes in our local, who I’ve known for years who suddenly became a Wrexham fan a couple of years ago, much to the amusement and deserved ridicule of the locals , it’s just impossible for me to take him or anyone like him seriously.

In theory yes. I think you’d find the reality would be different.

I went out for a few drinks in Albrighton around Easter last year and the Old Bush was full of Wrexham fans, quite bizarre.

.should we have them answer a questionnaire and then maybe an interview and a least 2 proposers proper Walsall fans at least 20 years of suffering .and then maybe let them in .

Exactly remember all the upset on here following the Wembley trip.
Lots of abuse for people who paid to watch us, and it wasn’t even as if no one who wanted to go couldn’t

There’d be people suggesting that on here if we did suddenly start selling out and they couldn’t get tickets.

Even more bizarre

Ah maybe some of our so called fans have been found out
“ Britain’s elite pretend they prefer football to hunting and opera to avoid being labelled as snobs, new study finds”

Reminds me of when Cameron was pretending to be a Villa fan ,until he got his claret and blues mixed up and said he supported West Ham.

A lot of younger generation follow big teams rather than their local team
Any reason to get new younger people to a smaller club is a good thing. Wrexham are doing that. Ryan Reynolds is incredibly popular with my era and younger
We need Walsall to tap into the younger generations somehow rather than relying on their parents

I agree mate my lad is 11 and been going regularly since he was 7ish . So hard to keep him interested lately. He is obviously looking forward to tomorrow and even bringing his mate a baggie with him.
