It is only fair to warn you that Dales Lane has changed in the summer. It is now a strictly NO SMOKING venue, like Bescot.
Also, players and bench staff must note that it is now a FieldTurf 3G artificial pitch and there are strict rules about footwear, i.e. rubber or nylon studs only.
Metal studs, blades, dimple-soled, flat-soled (i.e. trainers) are NOT allowed. This rule will be strictly enforced.
Please check your intended footwear, guys, before asking to play.

Speaking of garish football boots I used to wear a pair of these red Diadora Bombers as a cocky 15 year old, then controversially moved onto a pair of white Puma Kings. I got a lot of stick as black Puma Kings are seen as an iconic boot and I’d ignored them for the white ones.
