Walsall Fans Walk for Acorns - 25th-26th September 2021

HERE WE GO!

6pm tonight and we’re on our way!

Nearly at £2000 now

Rob Harvey is fundraising for Acorns Children's Hospice Trust for any last minute donations before we walk.

The page will be open until a week Monday for any coming after we’ve finished.

Cheers mate, currently enjoying what the first team have to offer.

Just smashed £2000 so hopefully we can keep building it up now!

I would just like to add my personal thanks to everyone on here who has donated to the cause.

Half an hour before starting off it was a personal challenge to be attempted.

Then upon being introduced to three of the children being cared for at Walsall, it became a mission that was going to be achieved.

Agree with @TheBostedSlab
There were a couple of times particularly in the early hours Sunday in Worcester and Sunday evening in West Brom where I thought I wasn’t going to make it to the end.

But a few hours walking is nothing compared to what the kids and their families are dealing with.

Nice wallet arrived this morning - thanks Rob. Must be the modern wallet making way with cards and contactless payments, as I’d struggle to get a monkey’s worth of 20’s in it.

I agree with Wilts, both about the walk and also the chiropodists impressive marketing feat.

I like the way it is at the foot of the page.

As for the poster that objects to threads degenerating into puns, heel be furious.

Is he the sole objector to these pun threads?

All seems a bit corny to me.
