To be slightly fair (!) to the club regarding the website, I think a single company is responsible for all clubs sites, so I think the copy paste demon is running wild, and I think the quality overall suffers. Websites live and die on their uptodate info - ffs I can still buy tickets for the Macclesfield game Feb 2020 and they went to the wall ages ago. The whole website and social media needs a complete overhaul, including tickets, iFollow etc

The majority of clubs are still using the EFL’s identikit website template, though a few (most recently Plymouth) have branched out to third parties. Regardless, the content management system (CMS) will be administered by the football club.
The copy paste demon is member of the media team, unfortunately.

If Pomlett or Ramred is aware of this amateur fiasco surely he has to wield the axe on Mole after all he is Chief Operations Officer I believe is his grand title, the incompetent waste of space, I suppose Mole may not be aware of all this comedy gold as he still might be playing hide and seek with his kids in the Bonser suite!! If Ramred oops Pomlett doesn’t pull the trigger now on Mole and Gamble I’m afraid he never will.

I agree there is a degree of incompetence in the process here but don’t knock the Club for trying to recruit good people to prepare food. I have had some excellent meals at the Club before matches and at events. I also know many people who have had meals there and think the service is excellent.One way for us to increase our income is to provide more of that sort of service. All this mockery of the qualifications needed to be chefs doesn’t sit well with me as I love good food and appreciate fully the skill involved in producing it. If these chefs are going to enable the Club to give a better service at events and before matches then what is wrong with that?

I’m absolutely delighted all this incompetence within the club is being highlighted on social media.
It’s been going on for years, and a lot has been swept under the carpet.
Perhaps Leigh will realise much has to change, and it explains the vitriol currently being shown by fans towards the club.

Sure, but I mean, master sausage rolls before you ask for Michelin stars. Walk before you can run and all that.
Also, “a degree”? They can’t admit people to a football ground, they can’t get a beer order right, the can’t heat up shit food, and they have piss all over the floor. They apologise unreservedly, then copy and paste a job application from another club, not even changing the link taking you to that clubs website to try and fix it.
I’d suggest more than a degree.

It’s been funny on here the past few days. Some of the laughs have been provided by the fans, but the best ones have come from the Club. Hilariously, magnificently, outstandingly incompetent.

Well if you read the website we are looking for chefs etc. Surely that is a good thing isn’t it? As for the error whoever did that needs a rollicking but I doubt there is anyone on here who has never made a mistake. I made plenty in my younger days but when I became a Manager I was always careful not to overreact to errors . At least if you make a mistake you are doing something. I would rather have triers than do nothings which I thought was the main complaint on here.
