Wembley Tickets

14 of us going. Down on the rattler in the mornong and staying over in the big smoke for a few post match Brandy Alexander’s. I cant hide my disappointment and dissatisfaction that we didnt smash the 20,000 barrier like i anticipated but sure for those of us there it will be an absolute hoot.

I bought an early bird ticket for the NL Final, £20. The disruption is a pain. Otherwise the crowd may not have been far off our game.

I think the Registry are doing something for it. They did for the Chesterfield game, so I assume they will for the final.

I haven’t set foot in the place since they tarted it all up in Villa shite when they were in the playoff final though.

Town was buzzing last time we got to Wembley, I bought a load of stuff off stalls in the Town Centre.

Given the crap that seems to be on sale in the ‘swag’ shops that appear to permeate the town centre these days I’m glad that they haven’t taken up the theme.

To be fair, I don’t remember the last time I went to Walsall Town. Got to be a couple of years at least. Actually I think we may have got off a coach from away game there. I don’t often visit now though.

It’s still home though.

Yes, I was there too. Bit of a boring game but there is always something special about away games…and Chester is a great place to visit!!

I haven’t lived in Walsall for over 40 years, but it will always be home!

Yep, I have never really fit in anywhere else. Been here in Cannock for 16 years now, not made a single friend (and I make friends pretty easily as a rule) other than the few Saddlers I already knew who live here.

There you go mate. Not much but at least it is something.

Mansfields attendance increased by 1.5k the season after they played at Wembley. I don’t think that increase is all down to playing at Wembley, but it is a great opportunity to grow.

I’m not familiar with the timeline as such but I always assumed it was the ambition shown that helped increase their gates. It was clear they were going to League 1 at some point, it probably took longer than they expected.

I may be wrong here but historically I always thought Walsall were a slightly bigger club than Mansfield. It shows it can be done. I think fans need to feel their Club is always looking to progress.

We are only at the beginning of our journey with Trivela really, we will see where it goes over the next few seasons.

Saw Jasun Watkins at the Milestone last year, was a good night. Think he was the guy who did Stars in your eyes as Boy George.
